  The Galilean Baptist Church located in the Village of Liberta on the Sydney Simon Road is one of the first if not the first independent Baptist Churches on the Island of Antigua. The Church Building itself is a converted warehouse or similar structure from the colonial era.
  
  The historic building has been renovated and indeed modernized with new chairs and other interior features, the upgrade to the facility has been well received by the congregation and members who participated in the process.
  
  the Pastor and members of the church makes all visitors feel welcome and special. The service itself was good and the Baptist in me was spoken to in many ways. The family atmosphere was definitely touching and those warm greetings and kind words from many in the congregation really made my day in fact my entire week. The total service time was definitely not short, neither was it over-long it was just right and you feel as if you went to Church and received your blessings.
