This Government Ministry serves a multitude of purposes including housing the Government IT Centre and the Ministry of Information, Broadcasting,Telecommunications, Science and Technology. This ministry is also responsible for the GATE Program (housed elsewhere).

The Government IT Centre itself has the total responsibility for all Government Technology (computer) needs which entails the issuace of new computers and repair and maintenance of computers also internet and intranet connectivity. Maintenance of Government Website and Issuing and maintaining government email accounts plus a wide range of other responsibilities and duties.

The Ministry Proper is responsible among others for all the aspects previously mentioned for example; Radio and TV Station Licences, Issuing Laptops to Teachers and assigning FM frequency.

The staff members are quite professional and efficient while being friendly and helpful. This well kept and maintained facility located opposite the VC Bird International runway and next door to LIAT Head office is well appointed and welcoming. Doing business with this office both by phone, online or in-person is a pleasant and rewarding experience.
