The Judge's Sugar Windmill Tower is one of the many sugar mills ruins still remaining in Antigua from the days when sugar was king. The Sugar Mill in the Judges area between New Winthorpes and Barnes Hill Villages and also on that established road running from Cedar Grove Village through Royal Gardens and on to The Jabberwock Road in the vicinity of the American University of Antigua School of Medicine. The Judge's Sugar Windmill Tower is part of the Old Judges estate and other structures which once stood on the site are also in ruins.

The Windmill Tower still has some wooden portions attached and is in a less state of ruin than many other such relics of the bygone era. When in the area you will want to stop and have a better look or at least inquire about its name or the name of the estate rather and you will be forgiven for linking it with nearby Judge's Hill in some way.

The Judge's Sugar Windmill Tower is a vital part of Antiguan and Barbudan history and it is indeed cherished.
