Freeman's Bay is situated in English Harbour (it may be argued that the Bay is actually English Harbour but that is another story) at the entrance of the Historic Nelsons Dockyard and boasts at least 4 separate and distinct lovely sandy beaches. the historic and scenic bay is generally dotted with yachts and other vessels because of its sheltered nature (I must say that it enjoys a sheltered existence:)). Several Hotels and other quite interesting and useful establishments are in the area as well all with differing and breathtaking views of the Freeman's Bay.

Walking along the coastline to the Pillars of Hercules or for a scenic nature trail or for a picnic on one of the many beaches I have encountered historic and marine items to my amazement and wonder. The Freeman's Bay has many sights and scenes to view and enjoy with the experiences both on land and on sea being quite memorable.
