2nd time there in 2 years. Attentive staff, great food and beautiful beach steps away from your room. We will definitely be back a third time.

Spending the day here for the birthday, was GREAT! The hotel has beautiful lush landscaping with splashes of flowers. The whole surrounding is very relaxing. We had drinks by the bar at 11am ;), and went onto the beach where we had an umbrella and 2 beds, equipped with towels and even a cooler! The beach guy was very pleasant and friendly and the restaurant staff was great! The Food was really good also, not a full plate but delicious! Clean beach and surroundings, service great and all friendly faces!

My wife Stephani & I just got back from Antigua. What a beautiful place!! The pictures look amazing but they still don't do justice for just how breathtaking the place actually is. We took a boat out for the day & had the opportunity to anchor down & stop in Carlisle Bay to grab some lunch & a few drinks. This resort is top notch & lives up to the 5 star rating for sure. The food was superb! The drinks from the bar were refreshing & made to perfection by the bartenders. The entire staff at this resort was so friendly & kind. Everyone here just seemed so happy like it was contagious or something! Even from the patio where we had lunch you could tell that this hotel/resort was kept so very clean & neat. The aroma's from outside smelled so fresh it was almost spa like from patio it was incredible. We had the honor & Privilege & were lucky enough to actually get to meet the owner of the resort & she is a First class person. We didn't even know about Carlisle Bay before we went & had lunch there but needless to say we will be coming back to Antigua very very soon & Carlisle Bay is where we want to book our next trip. My wife & I have traveled all over the Caribbean & without a doubt this is our favorite place. I have nothing but great things to say about Carlisle Bay & from the Owner, down to the management, to the servers, the bartenders, the waters sports crew, the groundskeepers, etc. everyone there made us feel right at home & gave us a big welcoming embrace that left quite an impression on us. We will be back very soon. You cannot go wrong with this place you will not regret it. The only thing we regret is not staying longer!

Our sailboat anchored in the bay so we decided to take the dingy to the beach for a glass of wine in the bar. What a setting.absolutely beautiful! Service was friendly and efficient. Wines by the glass are quite good.

Carlisle Bay Antigua is a Resort in the Village of Old Road, Antigua, situated in the Carlisle Bay Harbour. The Hotel is on the beach as it were and it is on a generously sized property with well kept grounds and scenic views of the Harbour and the surrounding areas. The hotel rooms and cottages are nested between quite a large number of tropical palm trees giving an ambience of a Tropical Paradise. Although the Resort is one reasonably large property it has many facets which seam to be self contained, so one can concentrate on enjoying their amenity or facility of choice without getting in the way or interacting with others not on the same path at that moment, for instance the pool is more within the confines of the hotel than at seaside.

Activities on land or sea are part of the package and the friendly and helpful staff are all geared towards the comfort and well being of their guests. The hotel offers Destination Wedding and Honeymoon Packages complete with a dockside dinner for two by candlelight or a non-electric alternative. Events are hosted at the Hotel and the restaurants are more than happy to accommodate visitors not necessarily staying at the hotel. The Entrance pedestrian bridge over a large open aquarium/fountain with large colourful fishes do add that extra touch to the whole ambiance of the place, they have a strange calming effect on me.

All in all Carlisle Bay Antigua is a great Resort/Hotel to visit whether for a short or extended stay,

I was not staying at the resort but stopped and had lunch. After a short walk around the grounds I was intercepted and asked to leave "This is a PRIVATE Resort"
I was not disruptive in any way before during or after the "event". I regret spending money at their Private Resort because I felt asking me to leave the property after buying lunch was inappropriate. (The place wasn't very busy, I think I know why)
    Lunch was very good

Definitely not 5 star! We had to travel out of the resort everyday to other beaches as the water was brown compared to the rest of the island! The food selection is terrible and over priced, absolute daylight robbery! You have been warned!

Beautiful resort on a quiet stretch of beach. Amazing service from a friendly and professional staff. The food and beverage options were all top notch. There were plenty of activities for families with children, but they did not disturb my ability to have a relaxing, peaceful stay. A special thank you to Michael Eutrope who made sure no detail was overlooked while exemplifying gracious hospitality.

An amazing place. Probably the most relaxing place I've ever been to. We stayed for two weeks and mostly stayed in the resort - which is a little long for the food menu as there isn't that much variety over a 2 week period, but the are other places in the island so it's probably a reflection on me rather than on the resort. Going to go again one day!!

Fantastic resort, so clean and the staff is really nice with everyone. The food is deliciously cooked. In a week of vacation we saw different resort on the island and i think is this is the best one. The beach is beautiful.
