  I had a well needed lunch here. This place was popular with hippies in the 1960's and has certainly seen better days. Our host spoke very good English. The service was warm and hospitable and the food very good. Getting here is a bit of a trick but the view of the Bamiyan valley and the Buddha niches is well worth it.

  Jeg hade et uforglemmelig opphold på Roof of Bamyan i 2009. Utsikten mot fjellet der de to Buddha statuene sto, er ubetalelig. Hotelldirektøren var meget vennlig og hadde dessuten en bror som bor i Oslo. For en Normann er jo det stas.
  
  Komforten var rimelig god, og maten var grei. Hotellet anbefales!
