Sometimes I actually miss this place contracted here from 2011-2014 by far the best camp !!!

Stationed here in 2006, 2007 and 2008. This place surely has changed since then we were the men of the first hour! Back then, the US forces had their own camp before they moved in with the rest of the NATO.

Quiet, away from flagpole red tape bs, no jets stationed here (not a lot of things to wake you up at night), Germans here are cool, Internet is expensive, food is eh, Afghan Bazaar is pretty solid.

More than 5,000 soldiers are currently stationed at Camp Marmal. Additional forces come from the United States, Croatia and 14 other NATO countries as well as from Georgia. Best place is Planet Mazar, The Lounge and K2.
