  The airport is mazar is much better, cleaner and larger than Kabul airport.

  Mazar-i-Sharif International Airport (Dari: میدان هوائی مزار شریف‎, Meydâne Havâyeye Mazâre Šarif; Pashto: مزار شریف نړیوال هوايي ډګر‎) (IATA: MZR, ICAO: OAMS), locally known as Mawlānā Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Balkhī International Airport, is located 9 km east of Mazar-i-Sharif in northern Afghanistan, a journey of 15 minutes by taxi from the center of the city. It comes with a dual-runway capable of handling large aircraft such as Boeing 747, Boeing C-17 Globemaster III and Antonov An-225. The airport has facilities for up to 1,000 passengers,[3] making it one of the largest airports in Afghanistan.[4][5]
  
  Originally built by engineers from the Soviet Union in the 1950s, the airport serves the Afghan population north of the country. A new 60 million euro terminal was added to the airport in recent years while the older terminal is now used for domestic flights.[6]

  Nice small international airport. Good selection of duty free for its size. My only complaint is the total lack of any kind of smoking area.

  Mazar-i-Sharif International Airport, Mazari Sharif, Afghanistan - One of the most beautiful airports of Afghanistan. Lot of advance facilities are available there. Lots of hospitality. Great country. Wonderful people. And a beautiful airport.

  This place is like the Disneyland of FOBs. There are so many bikes everywhere. The Germans feel walking is beneath them and this fascination with bicycles is bleeding over to the other NATO forces.

  This my working place as air traffic controller it has a great view from tower yeah some amendments should be made but its going on quite good !
