Hair stylists were very friendly and did a good job (thank you Afaf), nevertheless they have LOST two potential clients.
We called in the morning to book a blow-dry for two and mentioned that we have “entertainer”. They confirmed that it is fine and that we can use the entertainer.
After arriving to the place, they informed us that entertainer is not valid for this offer because its February (apparently Entertainer was not updated correctly). They wanted to charge us the full price for both blowdries and on top an extra for making curls.
After long negotiation and explaining that they should have informed us over the phone when I asked about the Entertainer offer they gave us a very small discount (220 aed for two blow dries). Nothing compared to the offer we would have gotten with Entertainer.
When paying they rised the prices again because of the curls we requested.
At that point I really felt ripped off, especially because in the first place we as a customer did NOTHING wrong. While trying to explaim the lady at the reception why we think it is unfair, she asked me about my nationality!!!! As if this has anything to do with the problem. They made us feel as if we were trying to get a bargain and as if we were being not nice to them.
Bottom line is that they could have simply said we still give you the 2 for 1 offer, because you received the confirmation over the phone. They would have two regular clients more. Sadly the management was not clever enough to act appropriately.
We will definitely NEVER return, not because of the hairstlists but because the way they put us in a bad mood.response / report this review -

Zuri Beauty Lounge is a true hidden gem. Located across from the infamous Jumeirah Beach Hotel in a shopping mall, the place attracts both tourists and locals. I discovered it rather randomly looking for a quick nail fix. I love fresh and modern interior design and friendly service.
The prices are a delightful surprise me so I stayed for a full colour mani-pedi (AED 135) and a haircut (AED 120).
I left very happy with beautiful voluminous hair and pretty hands and feet.response / report this review -

Only went here because they are on Entertainer. Average salon with high prices compared to the environment and other beauty salons. Had a massage which 'normally' costs 180 AED but because I want to use the app(buy 1 get 1 free)I had to pay 240 AED + 15 AED VAT!!! They do not know how to keep the clients coming back and looking to rip them off. Wake
up guys! With 299 we can go to DreamWorks SPA with higly trained indonesian therapists and enjoy a proper SPA atmosphere!not a 1x1 m cabinet behind the hairdresser noise.response / report this review -

Don't get lash extensions from here. I've had lash extensions done quite a few times in my lifetime and I have to say I received the worst eyelash extensions ever from here. My natural lashes have been completely ruined by lash extensions being fitted incorrectly. I used to go to Sisters to get them done and made a mistake coming here because of an offer. I ended up paying more in the end as more than half my natural lashes are out

Really liked the salon, really liked the lady who did my treatment and very happy with the outcome of my lash extensions. However one minor thing that put me off is during my treatment one staff member came inside the treatment room, locked the door, dumped her jacket or whatever on my legs and then proceeded to wax some part of her body - I'm presuming legs or arms or something. I found it very unprofessional. Of course my eyes were closed as I was getting lash extensions but I heard everything. I was very annoyed about it at the time but because the manager was very nice after my treatment I forgot to mention this. Slightly off putting. However, my lady was great and will be going back refills
