Good calm place for families, but do visit in early hours otherwise they will postpone the golf-car ride to another day. The management of the park needs improvements. The staff is courteous.

Appreciate the effort of Sharjah Government to give a greenish touch to it's desert environment. They do not accept cards also no discount for families, still this place offers a pretty good scenary with some good variety of birds.
I couldn't see the binoculars working properly but this place is good to spare some time from a busy city life..

A really nice place to take the kids and spend a few hours. The variety of birds here is quite vast and all that for a reasonable AED15 for adults, and free for kids under 12.

Education place for kids, well organized area, only the locally found birds are included in the catchment, good and must for people who research and observe the local habitat of UAE, ease of access and very near to Sharjah makes it a quick outing spot with kids and family , air-conditioned walk ways makes the visit feel good

A nice and enjoyable place to be in!! A good opportunity for bird lovers to closely see various birds, big and small, local and foreign!!
A half an hour ride around the sanctuary, through the thick man-made forest literally made feel like I am in the natural hill forests in south India!!

A nicely developed ecosystem for birds. Natural water (being below sea level) supports the greenery. Authorities have put commendable efforts to create visitors feel worth for their trip. Nice attraction in the deserts.

Wasit Wetlands is certainly a very impressive and outstanding place. The fact such greenery is built in the middle of a desert and that it's well maintained is wonderful. There are hundreds of bird species to view up close and not to mention the golf-cart ride through the mini "forest". It's a place that is worth every minute of your time and money. People should definitely visit this place.
