I was hoping for a relaxing spa experience when i bought a Groupon voucher for Toi et Moi; unfortunately i left the place more stressed out than when i started! the groupon included a 60 minute massage, a mani- pedi and paraffin treatment. the massage was actually only 53 minutes long and was often interrupted by somebody wanting to use the bathroom that was right next to the massage room; this meant that every time somebody knocked on the door my masseuse had to stop the massage let the person in waited till they finished and then start up again! so on the whole i guess i got a 40 minute massage. Also the bathroom was smaller that a porta-porti, didint even have a real door, just a shutter, and didnt have a light! so if you wanted to use the loo you had to use your phone light or leave the door open and hope no one walks in on you! moving on to the mani-pedi; they didint even clean the area after the previous client was done; in fact i had to point out dead skin lying around to the technician GROSS! to add to the lack of hygiene they use the reusable kind of paddle foot scrubs that have now been worn by use on many many clients. besides the terrible hygiene the work wasn't even good! i had to constantly keep telling the technicians that they hadn't cleaned my nails properly, they missed a spot and the shaping was off (an of course the technicians blamed this on my nails.). Coming to the paraffin, the groupon hadn't specified it was only for feet or only for hands therefore i assumed it was both; unfortunately it was only for the hand and they barley left the paraffin on for 5 minutes before pulling it off to get me out of the chair; also they barley do it up to your wrists and after some coaxing they reluctantly did it up to my forearms. Lastly i added on a waxing service for my arms; they used a very cheap weird smelling wax which made my skin smell weird after. Now after all this when i went to pay for just my waxing which was extra from the groupon i was informed i had to also pay the VAT extra on all the services since this was not included in the groupon; i refused to do this since i wasnt informed prior and groupons are supposed to be all inclusive. they finally accepted and charged me only for the wax the receipt of which they failed to provide which leads me to believe they haven't even registered for tax since they couldn't give me a tax invoice. an all together unhygienic and stressful experience !!

Customer service was extremely poor at the salon and even though we had an appoinment the treatment started nearly 45 mins late. The manager on duty was very rude and did not inform us prior to our booking that some treatments were unavailable. The salon was disorganized and the mani pedi stations and tools were unhygienic. They do not use sterilized tool per customer. And at the end of the service they tried to charge VAT on the service as well as our groupon voucher without VAT transaction reciept. The only good experice was the massage done by my therapist Marichelle as she tried to make the experience as relaxing as possible under the circumstance. But that dint fully make up for the rudeness and lack of cleanliness. I would not recommend this place if you are particular about hygiene and are looking for relaxing spa day. It was an unfortunate experience considering we were looking forward to visit the spa as it looked great online and seemed to provide good deals.
