The first thing everyone says once they get to The Farm is "Am I still in Dubai?".
There are trees all over the place, greenery and even a water stream running through the restaurant. The ambience is just wonderful. I have been there a couple of times and in both cases it was Friday morning, so I have only tried their breakfast dishes, which were tasteful, well cooked and beautifully presented.
As there are several areas where you can sit outside; some better than others, it's advisable to book ahead in order to be able to pick a nice spot.
There is limited parking space in their parking lot which is located just before the main entrance. Be careful not to miss it as you come by. However, typically people park in the road outside the entrance as well. Not sure if this is allowed though.response / report this review -

A truly hidden gem in Dubai. A great escape into an unbelievably beautiful oasis in the middle of the desert.
The food is amazing, clean and organic. It delivered on flavor and the cost was reasonable. I’d definitely recommend a visit.
I got the tuna tartar and the mushroom risotto. Both of which were flavorful and clean. The lamb shank was succulent and feeds 2 !

Quiet a unique place especially when you live in the desert. It gives you an escape from your everyday life and a change of scenery in the morning and afternoon-ish. The farm is the greenest place I have personally been to in Dubai. It’s quiet a drive though, unless you live in Arabian Ranches. Calm ambience and the staff are friendly. Good to go as a date or with friends. You can celebrate special occasions where you can have custom-made cakes and cupcakes. Make sure to call and let them know in advance. Otherwise you are left with whichever cake they have ready at the time. You will also have to book before you go and well in advance. I would say give it a week.

The farm is a unique place in Dubai. Surrounded by green, the restaurant is an oasis a bit outside Dubai. The setting is stunning with a nice pond and water all around the restaurant. Also the food is definitely above average, both in terms of flavours and portion size. I would definitely recommend the short ribs. However the service requires big improvement. We had to wait 30 minutes for our table, even if we had a booking and the table was not of our satisfaction. When we asked to get moved, we were asked if we had a reservation and we had to remind the staff several times as the previous waiters never came back to us with an answer. The place is truly unique but the service need to be seriously improved to ensure customers have a great overall experience

A unique spot like no other in Dubai. Nestled in the middle of a green jungle or the 'wilderness' (Al barari in Arabic), this indoor/ outdoor venue offers a wide good quality range of food and beverages. Local/ Thai/ pizza. Open from breakfast till dinner you can either choose this place for a detox meal, a business lunch or for a romantic dinner while listening to the zen sound of running water. Advice: better book in advance during weekend if you are a large group.

Celebrated my husband’s birthday. It was wonderful and feels like paradise. Thank you for all the staffs hospitality and support of surprising my husband. To Ms Alma thank you for taking my request of cake with greetings. Thank you to Mr josh for suggesting us best menu and his soft spirit. And to all the staffs with their beautiful smiles who sang for the surprise birthday song. My husband turned red and was so happy. Thank you so much! 😘

The Farm Al Barari is the place for those who can't live without mother nature in Dubai. If you value ambiance more than a food - this is the best place for you. In Dubai, there are no other places like this. It is cool and friendly, cozy and comfortable. Food is okay. Don't go for a food there, go there to enjoy your life with your family and relatives, really comfortable place to recapitulate things and meditate a little bit.

It's quite far from the main city, but it's such a beautiful place. Loved the ambience. A one of its kind restaurant. The food was yummy and quantity was more than sufficient.

The place is very nice, especially for those who enjoy beer no in nature. It feels like you are in Bali or Malaysia. A good place for family too, no alcohol beverages. Smoking is allowed in certain areas.
Food was normal. I had Thai beef salad. It was full of spice, more than the normal similar dish in other restaurants. The tea collection is really good and the pod size is good for two. The sweet was good too..
The level of service is average, somewhat slow response by waitress. Also, we were given a table that wasn’t clean. but the beauty of nature around you is enough to oversee anything elseresponse / report this review -

A place to feel you are away from busy ,dusty D ubai. Lush green gardens, landscaped lakes and tropical feel. Do not expect the fine dining options or great service, however the vibe and surroundings are stunning and will compensate everything else.

The farm restaurant is like a rich oasis in middle of the desert with lush green trees and gardens all around..
The restaurant is a nice place for romantic dates. It has a lot of points for photo opportunity.
The food is good and has a few veg options as well.
The entire place is well maintained and the atmosphere created is an enriching one.
You will find a lot of international travellers at this place.

Beautiful place BUT very poor service, no one attended us when we arrived, then when we were trying to take a seat they were saying go back to reception and see the availability, poor attitude of the workers!

Food was good, service was also good. However behaviour of ladies - hostesses was strange. We arrived around 5pm ( me, my husband and our 1yr old son). Since we have baby with us ( without the Stroller) I would think it's quite obvious that we r not going to sit there and enjoying dinner and drinks for hours to come. Hostess informed us that if we want to sit outside it's 30-40 min wait, which we politely declined since 7pm is bedtime for our little one. So we decided to sit inside. While waiting for food, my husband went for a stroll outside and seen quite few (5-6) tables available. Upon inquiring again for the table outside we got one. Mind u those all tables which were available when we came were still empty when we were leaving ( approx. Hour later). So I don't understand why it was such a big deal to get a table outside at the first place and definitely didn't make us feel welcomed.

Very nice food, good service. Very tranquil setting. 4 stars due to the extortionate prices of the local water, contrary to the Dubai legal requirements.

Where to start? Okay so the ambience and the view is absolutely amazing. Defiantly a nice place to sit and enjoy. But sadly that's where it stops. From everything we orders we were totally disappointed. From the 23aed 750cl bottle of local water (just because it was in a glass bottle) to the three measly sausages sorry chipolatas which for 28 aed show on the menu as being fairly substantial. Honestly I could go on about the terrible breads, jam selection and the very poor Arabic breakfast but I'll let you discover this for yourself or not

I used t love this place. But recently the quality if the service has deteriorated(no one answers the phone, takes ages to be able to order, even on Weekdays). I am giving it a 4* coz i am still hoping next time it will get better.

Oasis in the middle of the desert. Modern area for having weekend brunch or romantic dinner. Food is not as good as it costs, and it is quite expensive.

Luscious and lovely ambience, great food! We went for lunch, but looks like a good place for a romantic dinner as well.
Menu highlights for me where the seafood Tom Yum soup and the mixed berries sorbet.
Not the cheapest place to have a meal, but with a unique relaxed ambience and enough space for kids to run around.response / report this review
