I was concerned when reading reviews that the clinic only cares about prices, but this has not been the case for us at all! I have witnessed that some pet owners just have a sense of entitlement, and feel they deserve everything that they demand for, without wanting to pray the price for it. If you are good to the service providers, your experience will be amazing!

Dr. Stelios is great - we are so happy with our experience with him so far. Very professional, knows what he is doing, and never wants us to spend an extra dirham unless necessary. Always gives us options and is very transparent with pricing, terms, conditions, etc. and is very great with our little Maltese, Maya. She can be aggressive around men, but with him, she is friendly and at ease! Never once tried to sell us a product or promote commercialized products - our dog eats homecooked / raw, and Dr. Stelios kindly gave us suggestions to ensure her nutrition is balanced.

Only complaint is the parking space! During busy days, finding parking is nearly impossible :( Has led to being late for appointments twice already.

Apart from that, we are very happy with the service we have received so far, and wouldn't go anywhere else. Their team in Al Wasl is great. Very friendly, accommodating to our busy schedules, and always want the best for our dog.

Dr. Danilo is a great veterinary doctor and cardiology specialist. He is very affectionate with every pets we see under his care. Our baby is very much relaxed with him compared to our previous doctor from another hospital. He is highly recommended.

Worst veterinarian I’ve seen, my cat got worse and worse when visiting the so called “professionals” and in the end after weeks and weeks of going to them and paying thousands and thousands of dirhams all they said at the end is they dont know what’s wrong with him 💔 all honesty it will be my last time visiting them and I advice all who loves their pets (family member) to stop going and go to some where more professional and that will take good care of your precious pet.

It’s generally a good vetinary clinic and the vets are great with the animals. However, not entirely happy with the grooming of one of our cats as they cut his nail a little too short and it was bleeding. Mistakes happen but not something u would expect from a practice that has experience with cats and I have to mention that the cat in question is a Scottish fold home cat so not a wild or aggressive cat by any means

Super helpful care for our dog. We live in JVC, but still go all the way to City Vet. Their advice has been spot on so far and very helpful. Emergency care with very little notice period is possible if your pet is in dire need of professional attention. They also carry a range treats and pet related gear.

SNIFF has been facing more challenges every day with the increasing influx of the abandoned pets as we are entering the summer holiday season.

The City Vet Clinic has taken in and supported us each and every time without any second thoughts even when we reached our rescue credit limit. Their support is invaluable, and they come out of their way and work around the clock to save the lives of so many injured and sick animals. Without them we wouldn't be able to carry on our rescue operations.

The team of Doctors at the clinic is fully on board and care as much as we do about the rescued pets we bring to them. It's fair to say that we work as one team to tackle the huge abandonment crisis in the UAE.

Not a very honest place to take your pet. The vets are more interested in top selling additional things and you get a shock at the time of paying the bill. The reception staff is trained to hike up the prices if you have not checked and confirmed the prices in advance.

Update: I would just like to make it known that although my review was responded to, I have not had any contact from the clinic to speak about the unacceptable circumstances that took place. My 1 star rating has now moved to a 0 star rating.

Al Wasl Branch: First, let me start by saying that there are a few fantastic vets that really make the experience pleasant for both 2 legged and 4 legged visitors. However, in the past 3 visits that I have attended the clinic, the overall experience has been shocking. To keep this short, the attitude from the vets has been unacceptable in the way in which they communicated with us. The vet assistants have always been loving and kind towards our pets, but the vets themselves seem to show absolutely no care at all in regards to animal wellbeing or customer satisfaction/service. The vets have offered services without informing us that they were at an additional cost, the treatment of animals was questionable in the way they were handled, and the vets were incompetent to perform injections - I was actually asked to perform the iniection MYSELF because it was " too hard" for them to do it..not to mention, the vets spoke to us many times in very demeaning and rude ways. To sum up, I would NOT recommend this clinic to anyone that loves their pets.

They have very good vets and they take good care of your pets. It's sometimes hard to get an appointment with a specific vet. They usually just make you an appointment with whoever is available. Prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly and quick to smile.

Staff of City Vet Clinic took excellent care of our dog during a very serious illness. They treated us, and our dog, with kindness and compassion. We were kept updated on our dog's condition and treatment while an inpatient. My family is so grateful for the wonderful care we received.

To say this is the worst clinic in Dubai would be an understatement. Took my cat here after it had stopped eating for a day and the Vet in charge diagnosed it with pancreatitis. They admitted my cat to the clinic for 7 days after which the Dr. discharged him and did not even give me a report on the progress or recovery.

The next day my cat had lost all its will to survive and I bought him back to City Vet Clinic to the same Vet upon which she advised me Euthanasia as the only option. I took him to The Vet hospital in Al Quoz for a second opinion and they told me he has been misdiagnosed and there is nothing wrong with him.

My cat is now recovered fully and after confronting the Dr. at City Vet Clinic she told me that she is only human and everyone makes mistakes. Well for a premium as high as AED. 4000 for a misdiagnosis I believe mistakes are not acceptable.

I have reported the clinic to Dubai Municipality and I am still taking it further with consumer rights to report the clinic and receive a full refund.

They are incompetent and the Dr. lacks essential experience. Please do think twice before opting to take your pet to The City Vet Clinic in Al Wasl.

Very Very Very Bad and horrible. I do not want to select any star, but it is this form that did not let me.
I had the worst experience ever in this clinic. I can not get over the shock dealing with them, I will not return there even if it was the only clinic available especially with the presence of that vet. Only cares for money, not for the animal or the feeling of the client.

The doctor who was following my kittens case did not bother to answer any of my several calls when I wanted to have update about my kitten, the kitten passed away in the night or the next morning. I do not trust that the kittens had the required and the needed medical attention. Unthoughtful, unprofessional and inappropriate comments I have heared from this doctor while I was crying over the sick kittens, he did not check the other kitten instead he took me to reception to make the deposit (do not care about the sick kitten all he wanted was money), he did not give me the receipt and when I wanted to take a photo of the receipt he said yes take a photo and take a photo of me also if you want !! and took a pose ! how ethical, smart and funny he think himself?! I am literally boiling while I am writing this.

I took the poor kittens as emergency as they were about to close, they charged me AED 800, which is more than any other clinic in Dubai, even the best clinics charges less. One kitten passed away the next morning, what he only cared for is Money, he asked me to make another deposit and try to make instalments each day. I have just lost the kitten and he is asking me to deposit more money, in all the reputable clinics I have dealt with we were treated with compassion & I have only been asked to pay the bill once the cat is discharged, which raised my doubts that he is not taking care of the kitten and he is sure kitten will die, and he want to make sure to have the money.
Moreover, the kittens were not eating, which was stated by the doctors themselves, on the bill they have charged me for food, fourteen (14) bags of food in just two days, they have charged me for food the innocent poor kitten did not eat and did not live to eat. The charge of deworming tablet is AED 85, is it gold or diamond!! the final bill was way too much. the receptionist as well was unprofessional and knows nothing about customer service, I went to her colleague to revise the bill, and she said the kittens do not eat but we open the food..

I am totally angry with the behavior, comments, and medical bad service myself and the kittens have received. RIP my beautiful kittens, I did not think we will face such a horrible nightmare when I took you to this place, I thought I am helping you to get well. I do not wish what happened to us to happen to any other cats.

** Unfortunately my overall experience was very bad.
It is totally true that the kittens were not in a caring hand especially when your vet didn't respond to my calls & asked me to pay money daily, despite that I have already paid 2,000 as deposit. No vet do this. Only cared for money not for the kittens or client feeling.

In medical ethics, patient file is confidential, but your clinic chose to share details on my file and kittens details here!

Again I mention the inappropriate & non-decent comments from your vet when I wanted to take a photo of the receipt, he said "Yes, and take a photo for me also if you want and he took a pose" !
Finally, the receptionist who prepared the bill was very unprofessional & knows nothing about customer service, (Attached) the bill she asked me to pay for TWO days, if I did not REVIEW your receptionist work I would have paid for more days.
The discount at your clinic is what you give to stray cats, the kittens were living in the street. they meant a lot to me & I wanted them to recover as I do with many stray cats. I believe any clinic should participate in helping stray cats & people who help strays in very considerate way, so by this very little discount you are not doing me a favor, I have paid thousands at your clinic just to be treated badly and loose the kittens.

everything that you guys have done has exceeded my expectations. The staff at City vet are very personable and outstanding, always going above and beyond! The clinic's prices are fair and reflect the excellent care we always receive! You guys are the BEST
