Great place for families or groups. There are 1 and 2 bed bungalows each with BBQs (put the kids to bed inside and have some grown up time outside!) and grassy surround set just back from the beach. Nice sandy beach and you can swim out to snoopy island (or snorkel). Swimming pool, watersports, diving, kids play areas etc. The food is passable but we normally take our own. There are cheaper places along the coast (I would say sandy beach isn't cheap for what it is) but this is always a nice place to go to get away from the bustle of the city.

Great private beach. You can get a day pass for aed 105 and enjoy the beach. We snorkelled at the beach till midday. The marine life is amazing. Snorkelling, diving and kayaking equipment is available on charge.

Great resort, the location and services provided are great. The rooms or chalets are not luxurious but they are in good condition, clean and the best part about the chalet is the fire place. The staff are really nice, friendly and helpful.
You can kayak and swim to snoopy island. Snorkeling is really great around the island and you get to see turtles as well.response / report this review -

We booked a 2 bed 'bungalow'. Building is a little dated but the location more than makes up. You can snorkel off the beach. We saw a few small turtles as well as many fish. Bungalow has outdoor dining space as well as a bbq. Bring your own steak, fish, etc. - its perfect. Recommend for a short stay.

Beach hotel in Al Aqaa, Fujairah. With a lovely sea view, fabulous beach, proximity to snoopy island . Room are big, friendly staff. Lots of water games like rafting, banana boat, scooba diving etc. Hotel has got a restaurant but food is not very great. A quiet and peaceful ambiance next to sea. A good place to enjoy weekends. 4 star for overall experience.

Good beach, especially snoppy rock, nice view from the resort. We took 2 room apartment, spacious and calm. Night at beach is fun, we had a good time in here. Scuba Dive, Food and Drinks and all night karaoke in night bar at this place.

Pristine waters in a pristine location.
From the pool side you get a view of the beautiful beach with the huge rock majestically rising out of the sea. The beach is fabulous and water pristine. You can spend hours and hours just basking in the sun with an occasional dip in between. You can also indulge in some fun activities like snorkeling, kayaking and diving.
The restaurant was good with decent options. The food we ordered was well prepared and tasted authentic.
The one area which can be improved further is the quality of the rooms. The rooms are OK but not great. But if you are in Sandy you probably will be spending most of the time in the sands anyway😃response / report this review -

We rented a shale, it was small but cosy. Very noisy a/c and furniture is quite old. There is nice beach and lots of activities. Nice breakfast buffet. However bed had bedbugs

Lovely Beach, Good Size Rooms and Friendly Staff
Stayed here for a family weekend in the rooms, not chalets. Room sizes are good, furniture is basic but you can expect that from a beach resort where sand and water gets everywhere.
Didnt try the restaurant for lunch or dinner, but breakfast is pretty good.
For families, this resort is good fun and super beach.

Place was nice, but the food options were not amazing. I think going there for a barbeque would be a good option.

On Thursday the 17th August 2017, we stayed in a standard double hotel room on a bed and breakfast rate and were extremely impressed with the modern, spacious and neat facilities, and breakfast was fantastic!
The beach facilities and location was perfect. The restaurant was excellent, we had the seafood platter.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The highlight of our visit was Snoopy Island right in front of the hotel.
We snorkeled and saw beautiful types of coral and fish. Excellent!!

A true classic. Charming visitors for over 30 years in the UAE. Whether you want to get a different feel from being stuck in concrete jungle in Dubai, Or if you want to get some diving or water sports activities in ocean waters near the iconic snoopy island. It's not your cliche over the top luxury resort like Dubai, but the chalets and grounds have a charm you will not find in others.

Excellent snorkelling. Ropey hotel but ok food
Update on snoopy island:
The hotel is really rubbish at enforcing the rules to protect the coral. People stand on it and drive boats into it etc which is terrible and lifeguard staff have basically been told to ignore it.
Also saw them running water into the sand today just to cool it down for people's feet. Fresh water. In the desert. I challenged it and was told "it's hot". Yeh. :(response / report this review -

Great Holiday destination. All sorts of watersports. The swim and dive around snoopy island is great. Loads of colourful fish around the island and the water is great. Fun for the whole family

Great view, the beach is beautiful. The hotel rooms are a little old but the place is so nice you should only be in there due sleeping anyway! Next time I'll be taking a kabana. The Snoopy bar is great, the cocktails are awesome. Jagannath (our barman) was an absolute champion. Definitely ask for him if you want the best

Really lovely view of the island and they have good amenities. The restaurants are lovely and have a beautiful view of the sea. The continental breakfast was good with fresh food and juice. Great water sports available for your to enjoy at a cost but the beach is very well kept and the pool is lovely. They could do with a renovation or face lift of the rooms as they are out dated, especially for the cost of the rooms. Showers are small and the shower curtain needs to go. However the stay is with it as you don't spend all your time in the room. Snorkelling is amazing with a lot of sea life. Turtles, fish, sea urchins and many other forms of water life are present. Worth the drive every time.
