Fancy club but some people are too artificial for me. The staff is professional. The cocktails are fine.

Place looks fancy with a good layout. Very strict with their dress code policy. Unless you have a table then doesn't matter if you were following their policy or coming in wearing ripped jeans.

Scammy place with "girls". So their scheme is to send so-called "girls" to the drunk guys who they demand leave their credit card as a security for the table as they enter (and get asked - do you want your table with our without girls), and the girls, who either work there or get a percentage, buy the most expensive stuff (in case of my friend - 4 bottles of Cristal Champagne, 20 thousand Dhs total), and then intimidate the drunk guys into paying. Surprised to find out that a place like four seasons would choose to host a "club" like that, but it's a pretty standard scheme - just be aware of this going in there, drunk guys))

A few weeks ago, I was staying a Burj Al Arab hotel with two UK Chicks. We decided to check this club out because it was close to our hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted by very friendly bouncers and the manager, a Spanish guy, who asked me where I was from in the states. I told him I was from California and he replied that he was from New York. He escorted us into the club which was very modern and luxurious. The DJ was experienced and knew his job, consequently, the music was out of this world. Around 01:30 AM the female waitress who was assigned to my table approached me and said she was instructed to ask me for my ID and credit card. I asked her why and she replied they will keep it until I leave the club. I was SHOCKED and in DISBELIEF! Never had I have such experiences in any clubs in Dubai. I told the waitress no problem and gave her my American Express card and contractor ID because I did not want to disappoint the two young ladies whom later told me after the club that Provocateur was the BEST night CLUB they have been to in Dubai. Even though my reservation was made through Burj Al Arab one of the most expensive hotels to stay in Dubai, and I arrived to the club in a Phantom Rose-Royce, these people believe that because I am am BLACK American, I am a thief. Once the club was over, I met one of the bouncers who was very nice and helpful and later escorted me to my Rose-Royce. Burj Al Arab recommend this club and later asked me about my experience at the club, which I replied 'no comment".
Despite my negative experience at Provocateur club, this is one of the best clubs I have attended in Dubai. Will I ever go back to Provocateur club?
