must go for wednesday ladies night!
great view with free unlimited drinks!
wow!
Just visited and rejected on the door! Worst staff with attitutude. I strongly recommend if you are planning to have nice time, not to visit to this place even remove it from the list.
Beautiful night club with a terrace and nice view, staff is polite and helpful a good place open even when other clubs are already closed
I went there with my wife and mother in law and a family friend to have a nice night out in a nightclub in Dubai. We wanted to try this place as we never did before.
I called a day in advance to ask about table reservations for the club, and a woman answers me and gives me all the details I need.
I specifically asked if we can use the minimum spend of the table on drinks and cocktails rather than buying a bottle, and the answer was: "yes, we can make that happen"
I've been to tons of places in Dubai, and I know that table reservations usually are with bottle service only, however considering my knowledge of that, I asked this specific question, and I got that above answer!
Once we reached there, the door woman found my reservation and told us the club opens at 12 although on the phone, the other woman informed me that the club opens at 11! No issues as it was almost 12, we waited in the lounge area.
Once the club opened, I got to one of the bouncers and I ask who should I speak with to be seated, he says you have to go down. Obviously he didn’t know what he talking about!
Then went back to the woman at the door who told me that the club opens at 12, without looking at me or my wife, she says sorry we don’t have anymore tables (with attitude). I said you just found my reservation 5min ago, then she says “Oh, I’m sorry I confused you with someone else”. Well how can you confuse me with someone else if you didn’t even look at the person speaking to you.
Once we get on the table, the waiter comes and says it’s bottle service only and hands us out a menu with maybe 3 types of spirits of different brands with various prices none of which we wanted.
I asked to speak to the manager, and he shows up (Philip), I explained the situation to the manager, he messages his team member who spoke to me on the phone, and she says no she didn’t tell me what she did. I was like you’re her manager, of course she’s gonna say no!
My point is, I’ve been to tons of places in Dubai, and I expect always dramas at nightclubs especially with face control and bouncers and managers.
However, being a Customer Service professional myself, and working for a company known as having the best CS in the world, when you set some expectations for a customer, even if it’s a bit trouble for you, you meet those expectations and you teach your team member not to give wrong ones.
From a club perspective, I’m here to spend money, what I spend it on is not gonna matter in my case. I know it is how it is but you should honor at least what you told me. It was already 12:30 and our night was f** up because of your behavior.
If you call yourself a luxurious club, you should also have luxurious service and not treat people like assets, rather build a rapport with your people and make them want to come back again.
Mr. Philip as a manager, you should be in control of what happens in your club. Telling me I don’t know why she told you that is not the answer i expect from a club claiming to be 5 star or whatever. And calling yourself the general manager of the club, you should have the authority to make exceptions and not just be a muppet who follows rules by the book.
We ended up going to another club, who gave us the option to order a cheap bottles and use the rest of the minimum charge on finger food and drinks!
I gave 1 star for the design and couch in the elevator!!
Place & music were good. BUT the Entrance girl even bouncers definately need to see a psychiatrist. Dunno shall I call her even human, as she's miles away from it
And the award for most pretentious and rude club in Dubai (and possibly the worldafter recently calculating the 40 countries I have visited) is Boa!!! Congrats!
My experience was terrible but I don't state that everyones will be. If you have enough girls or money, I can't speak for youwhich is btw the minimum entry criteria. Lay down 5k or have a host of girls and you're in!
After arriving at the appointed time my friends, had unfortunately gone to sleep after a wonderful dinner at Robertos in the DIFC. So me and a gentlemen friend of mine (two boysno chance of getting in anywhere respectable in the world if we are honest) were left high and dry. This is an experience many men have felt throughout their clubbing lives and is not reason to bash a club (apparently).
Once we realised our predicament, I asked the bouncer a simple (and possibly) an inappropriate question. Where can two guys meet some girls other than this place. Now the question wasn't great, I'll admit, but why else would two guys be willing to spend their bank balance at a place like this except to have the opportunity to meet and maybe dance with ladies.
Now, if this club were respectablethe answer might have been one of two things:
1. Excuse me sir that is inappropriate please leave OR
2. This is a relevant place for you.
Now, I could have respected number 1, from the Asian, bulky, beareded bouncer who refused to give his name.(strange if you think you have acted honourably) However, the answer wasyou shouldn't have asked, your friend should haveyou would have had more luckI write you on the same night of the incident for two reasons:
1. To see that I am not a vulgar or rude person.
2. To show I am not out of my elements.
After this, the manager (a British lady) showed up after I said there was no need to give such a rude response and she had asked what was wrong. They could have easily turned me away. She could have simply overheard the conversation from 1 metre away.
I answered her question by saying yes, well, the bouncer didn't need to be rude he could have simply said go away. She said, what did you ask and so I explained to her we asked him we were looking for a place to possibly meet and dance with ladies.
Again, she could have turned me away or said that he should have turned me away instead of saying the same words would have been better coming from my friend. But with a cultish attitude she said, 'this doesn't reflect on the club, the bouncer was right' and walked away in the middle of my response.
Gentlemen, I urge you not to go to this demeaning place unless you are of course a Casanovain which case, why even bother with this place anyway.
Ladies I cannot speak for you but hope you enjoy it if you do get in.
If i am inappropriate say so, don't justify the same words coming from another person and then validate it through a manager.
Inexcusable. Possibly from me, and definitely from them. It's not right. If I don't meet your standards and am acting inappropriately turn me away in whatever manner you see fit. But to simply say, I accept what you did from a different person is simply prejudice.
I truly hope nobody else has to experience the unprofessionalism of the members of staff I have highlighted.
Cool lounge! Amazing stuff! Especially Ihor
I see a lot of reviews trashing the door lady. I can confirm she is indeed a hoe, I used to live with her.
Her power-tripping rudeness and self centred attitude at the door is very synonymous with that time she threatened to throw my clothes off the balcony after falsely accusing me of stealing her shampoo.
Best night outing. Worst service and staff attitude everrrrrrrr ☹
From the arrogance of the door staff! To the fact the bar tender refuses to make a cocktail because he is too busy flirting and making free drinks for women! Paid 100dhs for a gin and tonic. Forget it. Strong recommend avoiding the place!
I would say that it is the most worst place on the Earth.. The unwelcoming security judging your dress up when I passed the same comments to the lady at the door took it as an offense No to Boa..
Very nice very good club . It was amazing we enjoyed there. Number one Club in Dubai. Everything perfect. We liked.
WORST PLACE I've been so far in Dubai!!! unbelievably rude people at the door! despite bad comments below went there and experienced it myself! if you looking for decent place to chill go somewhere else!
The lady at the door entrance is not normal she refused to let me in even we had our table and my friends were there but she was sooooo rude I think she have a problem with Arabic plz change her she is nasty.
I wore my review weeks ago about my experience there with this rude lady at the door and I then I found a reply from the owner telling me that it was my dress code problem !!! Habibi I was on fleek with branded from top to toes so plz before you reply to some one make sure you collect enough information at least about what’s going on at the door entrance because what happened never acceptable in any decent way bcoz at the end I took my friend and went to another place , if ur staff can’t behave don’t reply to me saying stupid reason about my dress code honey !!!
The girl at the door (manager) is absolutely rude. I never write negative reviews but this time I'm def writing about it. She was loud and screamy and wouldn't listen. She acts as if she's running an illegal scam. Will never go there again or recommend it to anyone.
The venue is incredible! 32 floors up by way of a large elevator with plush couches on three walls and plenty of space to stand besides that. Nice touch!
The lounge looked comfy for chillin and having some shisha and food.
The club side (opens to the lounge below) has a decent layout with the bars providing excellent service.
We had great drinks and really decent sushi (I wish clubs in the USA where I live served food while we are dancing and consuming alcohol!)
The music was good except that the DJ sometimes let the music stop completely-on purpose. The stage had great dancers performing and nice touches like a sax player adding to "wild thoughts".
There is space to dance, but there's no designated dance floor. Special effects (lights, smoke, confetti drops) were really good and well-executed.
It's our second favorite nightclub in Dubai now. :)
Great atmosphere.. awesome views.. usually performers are present.. but people can smoke inside so the smell will stick to you..
Total rip off. Racist staff at the door and bar. Never again, crappy hotel, arrogant club fits together
No trainers (tennis shoes) allowed! WTF? The most incredibly asinine experience was at the entrance where the host represented the rudest of all hosts! The level of arrogance cannot be surpassed after visiting this venue. It is shameful for Dubai to allow such a venue to exist
Lady at the door is very rude. I went with my husband and they gave us a table with a very nice view but we ordered 2 drinks worth 150 dirhams but then we got surprised as they said we have a minimum spending of 1,000 Dirhams which they DID NOT MENTION before!! And we had to pay 1,000 dirhams eventually.. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 there was only 1 tiny toilet in the entire place
Went there for the first time to see Drake and busy night but still got served very fast at the bar and they didn't go short on the amount of staff! Fabulous atmosphere and just love the creative lay-out and decoration, really nice place that's luxurious and tasteful. I love the open balcony that gives a panoramic view over the the newly opened Dubai canal and the city beyond - from the 32nd Floor! There's a variety of seating arrangements to choose from - high stools, couches just a really well thought out venue that's got serious intent to be the most popular club and dining lounge in Dubai!
