Decent bar/pub Especially for sport. Decent happy hour and bar food is some the best I've had.

Porters Pub..What can I say.(smiles) if you looking for a fun night out with friends and be able to talk, listen to music and eat something on the side Porters Pub is for you.
The pub is right next Al Wahda mall on the hotel side. The pub has a variety drink selection and the food menu is amazing. Porters has a relaxed vibe with 2 levels. The top level is a more intimate space with a pool board and a drinks bar on the same level. The lower level is where all the action happens. The stage and the main bar is on this level. A lovely lively place with a good spread of food for their Brunch.
They have a small area to dance too when the live band plays which is very nice.

Great pub and high quality food. Really enjoyed myself here. Personnel is friendly and trying to satisfy customer requirements. All sorts of games on to everyone's liking since the layout of the place is supurb for all. Toilets looked after. See u next time

Staff is very nice, Bartender is rude and uneducated, handed me a knife to “cut” my cigar that I paid wayyyy too much for.
Post Brunch advertises a 4-7pm Live Band Band has been “testing and checking” audio for literally 2 hours. And it’s 6:30pm. So, yeah, the band sucks

My weekend spot. While i have tried other pubs, this place has always brought me back.
While most pubs have happy hour drinks up to 8pm, this place goes all the way to midnight.
The staffers of the pub are really friendly and the coupled with the dj playing at the background, it is a good place to spend a weekend.
The food from porters is worth the money!
The only thing i wish had an improvement would be for the band that plays on the weekend. The songs do get repetitive, and for regulars like me..can get a bit annoying.response / report this review -

Great bar. Good food, live band. Quiz night , lady's night. Happy hours. Used to be excellent 3 years ago. After that management changed and then place went south. But now a new management is in place and they are coming back to what they were.
