I have been at Paul almost all around the world and that one is the most expensive one. We paid 120 Dhs for 2 sandwiches and 2 tea. The sandwiches was also too hard to bite. However, location is fantastic. Even being in JBR is enough reason to visit any place. We love JBR!

I think that the place is permanently closed. No wonder, with bad coffee and the continuously detoriorating food quality.. sad to see what happened to what used to be a good place.

Very famous and internationally recognized names , French style in every thing , food , setting, presentation, i like the food , specially the pastries , different type of croissant , danish , cakes , coffee and tea , prices are average, normally visited to have breakfast, eggs in all kind , fresh juices ,

Don’t come here, with so many much better places around. We came in for coffee and pastries. Coffee was ok, decent enough to drink but pretty low quality. But pastries were a DISASTER!
The apple tart had a crust so hard it’s not possible to cut without ruining the whole dessert. The other pastry had RAW dough in the middle.
We asked to change the desserts, to which the chef responded that we can only take the same kind. Needless to say same thing was wrong with the new desserts since they all came from one batch (what a surprise).
Had to pay for this disaster anyways and leave.
There service is horrible, people shouldn’t be required to paid for uncooked food!

I love Paul but on this visit i was disappointed. I normally love Paul - their croissants and cakes are Devine but they're coffee is not great.
Disappointed with the quality and presentation of the coffee. Especially for their take away options. The one I had today was half full.
But normally their pastry, breakfast and baguettes are so scrummy and I love the relaxed atmosphere and good wholesome food. But sadly the coffee always fails to live up to expectation.

Went to Paul cafe inside the Mood d
Furniture shop on JBR near Ritz Carlton yesterday for lunch. Was lovely and quiet and good selection of baguettes for lunch. Went for a treat. Interested by their new loyalty app will download. Forgot to take picture but do like this chain - good food unprocessed and lovely relaxed feel

The waitress was not nice and not helpfull at all, we came here often but after today's experience won't come here again. We even moved to another place close by, I couldn't stand her additude. Go to Le Pain Quotidein, better service.

First of all the Staff attitude was not good. It feels like they are serving people for free!!
second they were not if the order is available or not! So they are a bakery and it may not be available do they bake it elsewhere then just heat it! after that the food was a little bit hard and the knife was not sharp so it feels like I'm fighting with the food, even when i asked for another knife they brought a bigger one but wasn't that big difference.

Disappointed with this PAUL. the french onion soup was the best part of the meal but very salty. The salad was extremely wilted and too much vinegar. Menu said goat cheese but the cheese was not goat cheese and was had soggy breadcrumbs. Staff was difficult to communicate with and could not understand requests. Couldn't figure out how to make an ice coffee brought us wrong orders several times. Slow service though it was very busy when we went

Spoke with the manager on the way out and he was wonderful however. Apologized for the experience and gave us complimentary dessert. Will definitely give another chance.
