Excellent Thai restaurant in the Al Qasr hotel. Good views outside on decking looking at the water ways. The food really was impressive, good and authentic flavours. Service was also very good, and you are nicely welcomed when you arrive.

Good place to hangout with family and friendsMy search for authentic Thai food has ended. Amazing tasty food. My favorite dishes were the Papaya salad, Pamelo salad, Woke fried beef and Green Curry. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Atmosphere is calm with soft Thai music in the background. Definitely coming back again. 😄😄😄😄😄

If your date is into Thai food, then look no more. Cozy and romantic place that can only be reached by a boat. A fabulous trip on it’s own. One of my favorite places to also celebrate special occasions.

the best place for Thai food in Dubai., located in hotel Jumeria Al Quasar . the ambiance is supers, canal , boat , garden low lights , you will not believe you are in Dubai or desert. Great authentic food , and wonderful atmosphere. Must must visit.

Every time I am in Dubai I dine in the Pai Thai and was never disappointed. Very authentic Thai cuisine! Love this restaurant and the location by the water! The Som Tam is excellent! Must try if you love real Thai food!

Firstly, you need to know that the Thai food is just okay. I've had Thai food that was 100 times better and that was much cheaper. The food here (at Thai Pai) was totally overpriced. The australian meat platter (I posted as a video under photos) was 175 AED and it was just okay. There were deep fried rice balls on the plate that tasted nasty, uncooked, and doused in grease. And the sauce that came with it tasted like feet (really), but maybe some may like that sauce (all of this came with the australian) The dumplings were just okay. I've tasted much better frozen dumplings from my local supermarket. Also, we reserved a table and were a few minutes late but the waitress told us that it was okay and that we still had our reservation. But we had to wait for about 30 minutes because they were "preparing" our table (shouldn't a reserved table be ready by the time a person gets there???) Also, we did not receive wet cloth for our hands although others received it. Also! In addition to the overpriced food, they place a service fee that is 25% of your bill IN ADDITION to the 5%percent VAT already placed so we had to pay about 100 AED extra. Also, the location was sort of difficult to find. Also! Drinks are sorta expensive. Water costs the same as soda?? The complementary shrimp crackers were good along with egg fried rice (not complementary) and wok fried crispy chicken.

This restaurant is overrated. The food is just ok. I've had better tasting Thai food for less expensive prices. If you go, know that you are mainly paying for the fact that the restaurant is in Jumeirah. Because it's part of Jumeirah, you will be charged an additional 25% in taxes and fees, excluding the VAT. Negative points:
*had a reservation and still had to wait nearly 30 mins.
*was not offered the warm cloths although I noticed that other guests were
*waitress seemed tired (brought San Pelligrino although I ordered Perrier)
*ordered medium spicy noodles and was brought very spicy
*location is very hard to find and very dark
*the purple dumplings were not good. I've had frozen dumplings from Carrefour that are sooo much better.

SUGGESTION: Look for better Thai restaurants in Dubai

Pai Thai is always a wonderful romantic restaurant option in Dubai for my husband and me. We love the pomelo salad and the Masaman Curry. While the cocktails are not always the best, the wine selection makes up for it - so go for the bottles rather than something made by the bartender. Otherwise, service and location are excellent!

We were looking for a restaurant with Thai cuisine, and since I wanted to try a new place (although the last time I came to Dubai I had really good Thai food), we chose to go to Pai Thai for dinner. The location is romantic, as it is next to the water, and apparently you can get there by boat. We decided to walk instead; the winding path leading there is dimly lit and there are trees on either side. The service started out really well as a man showed us to our table, and explained that there was a special menu and a more lit ambiance due to the celebration of the Festival of Lights. We were handed our menus, and being a fan of organization (especially when the names of the dishes are in a foreign language), I opted to list the items we wanted to order on my phone. After the effort of writing down the names in Thai and trying to pronounce them to our waitress, she found it amusing and told us that she does not know them in Thai either. I would expect the waitress to know the menu by heart, including all the names of the dishes. Also, the attitude of a waitress affects the servicing, even if she is efficient in placing the dishes on our table (although a bit less efficient in removing them). Anyway, let’s get to the food. We ordered the (I will not bother to name them in Thai) Green Papaya Salad, the Crispy Marinated Chicken Wrapped in Pandan Leaf, and the Grilled Marinated Chicken Sate as appetizers. The Green Papaya Salad was flavorful and the Chicken Sate was tender and literally melted in your mouth, and I loved the peanut sauce. However, I disliked the Crispy Marinated Chicken in the Pandan Leaf; it was more soggy than crispy. For our main courses, we then had the Braised Massaman Beef Curry, a Pad Thai with Prawns, and a bowl of Thai Coconut Rice. The Beef Curry’s sauce was really tasty, but I did not like the beef’s texture within it. As for the Pad Thai, I have had much better elsewhere. We ended the meal with one of the desserts listed under the Traditional section, as opposed to the Modern one. We had the Sweet Sticky Rice with Ripe Mango; it was fine. In general, the food was average, and I was not blown away. Dining in an intimate setting with water surrounding you is basically what Pai Thai has going for it. Although, another Thai restaurant that comes to mind has that but with better food.

Great location. It's one of the best thai restaurants in dubai. It has a lovely terrace. The ambiance is romantic. We ordered plenty of items. Pai thai, noodles and spring rolls are awsome. Attentive and helpful staff. Excellent service.

Amazing experience getting to the restaurant via the boat service. Food tasted amazing and has a great selection of starters, mains and desert. I would highly recommend to go there in the afternoons where you can sit outdoors overlooking the canal

A bit difficult to get to especially if you're driving, Google maps not so accurate. About 4mins walk to pai. Almost like solving a puzzle. In the end it was worth every penny, great food+ambience. I will visit again..

The Massamman Curry and Duck Red Curry are excellent. Skip the Sate. The service is awesome and attentive. Take the abra (boat) to reach the restaurant for the real experience.

Beautiful ambience, good service, but an average food. Don't get me wrong. It's tasty, but much below expectations considering the prestige of the location. No twist, boring plating, zero culinary creativity. Can get better in BKK on the street.

I adore this place for consistency in good and service. Lovely patio with view of water canals and the Burj. Great spot for dinner date but expect place to be fully booked sometimes with families . Love arriving by the boat for extra romance. Food is amazing and well priced. I'm always satisfied

It's one of the best and a must try. Expensive, yet acceptable if you don't order much starters (like the jumbo shrimps). The setting and the surrounding area is nice. You feel like you're somewhere outside Dubai, and I believe that the only way to reach the restaurant is though the Abra (a boat that takes you through the water canal).

It's a nice experience, don't miss it.
