Things are tight when covid 19 comes but getting the service of writer relocations make me feel comfortable with their PPE and proper handling of my move going to philipines, I like how they managed their time and being good packers, power! to this company thanks a lot see you again

Very unprofessional marketing team in Dubai. Could not maintain scheduled survey appointment or notify client.

The lady in question did not respond to messages asking for confirmation the day before or bother to pick up her mobile phone. Spent an hour dialing various people/numbers to try to find out what had happened.

Tried to give her the benefit of doubt imagining she got stuck on Dubai-Abu Dhabi expressway at Covid checkpoint.

25 minutes after scheduled appointment time and obviously after being chased down by colleagues she calls to say her scheduled Covid test date is August the 6th so she can't come to Abu Dhabi. Our appointment was on the 23rd of July at noon.

Seriouslydid she expect me to wait 2 weeks to see her and think it okay to only call up after she misses an appointment.

To make matters worse her argumentative colleague had an unapologetic tone and kept making excuses.

Sad because we have used their services in the past 20 years all over the world but feel this office is not reliable or trustworthy.

Or maybe one should separate marketing from the actual movers/packers who do most of the work anyway?

Hilariously had a similar experience with Crown. Marketing lady in office was rude so had to reach out to their manager in Dubai. Was passed on to another lady who then fixed an appointment but despite that surveyor did not keep appointment time or bother to notify me.

Showed by 30 minutes late and said she had the wrong number! The plus side was she was worth the wait.apologetic, experienced and professional. The best of the lot.

Are all the big/reputed companies so over confident (since business is booming for them with Covid and everyone's leaving) that they can't be bothered with any new clients?

Our experience with Writer Relocation company in Dubai was outstanding. Team leader Mr.Sharif guided his team in a very professional manner. Our personal items were handled and packed with.great care.
Upon our items reaching destination the items were all in tact.
I would recommend this company any day.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY.
I moved my belongings from the UK to Dubai. My contact went on holiday on the week my shipment arrived so was given another name who would look after my delivery. He never answered emails or returned my calls. Eventually he answered and said my stuff would be delivered on Tuesday that week.
Everything seemed fine, until FOUR WEEKS after my shipment was delivered, they called saying I owed them thousands of dirhams in customs charges. I did not understand the 'receipts' and multiple fees were duplicated and in terminology I didn't know.
They admit they made a mistake by letting my shipment go without these fees being paid, when I said I didn't trust the receipts, he threatened me on the phone.

Do NOT use this company under any circumstances if you value your property. We contracted Writers Corporation to move our belongings from Abu Dhabi to Melbourne in January 2016. Everything went smoothly and we were happy with the process and cost until, after the majority of our belongings were delivered, we realised there was an antique chair missing. After months of emails back and forth, it eventually became clear that Writers contracted Elite Shipping for the freight element of the move, and they forgot to load the chair onto the ship. We have tried to recover our lost item but Elite is not replying to our emails reguarding when we can expect to get our chair back and Writers has refused to help us, even though they contracted Elite.
We moved in January 2016 and I am writing this in February 2017, more than a year after we left.
It pains me to have to write a bad review, because as I mentioned, we were initially really happy with their service, but that service should extend until ALL items are delivered safely!
