Awful. I don't know how my experience can be so different to the other reviewers. Don't answer emails, and when they do they ignore your questions. Charge you extra port fees because they made mistakes with the paperwork, and basically hold all your possessions ransom until you have no other choice but to pay. This was extremely stressful for my wife and I. Once they have your belongings, they hold you to ransom. They can demand anything they want and you have no recourse. I would not recommend this company even if they were the last one on Earth.

I would not at all be surprised if the 5 star reviews are fake/ paid for.

I would happily make public the 107 emails which clearly show these shipping agents to be completely incompetent, and consistently ignoring communication. Some questions emailed repeatedly regarding the delivery time and date actually were never even answered at all.

I am actually considering publishing all the details of our experience in a blog and spending money on a google advertising campaign to make sure it's at the top of every google search for "International move dubai". They really upset us that much and we really feel that badly wronged by them. They might be able to ignore all our emails and phonecalls, but they won't be able to ignore that.

We were extremely happy with the service we received, from the packing in Dubai to the delivery in South Africa. Very professional, friendly staff and Hari was incredibly helpful, keeping us informed every step of the way. I would highly recommend using Leader Relocations, they provide an excellent service.

My struggle with Leader is ongoing. I paid them in mid-December to ship many of my personal belongings to Hamburg, Germany, due to relocation. While they can’t commit to a specific delivery date, they offer an estimated start to end time of approx. 3 months.

Well over 4 months later, I am still without my belongings, which are sitting in the UK having cleared customs 5 weeks ago. After leading me to believe I was looking at a delivery date of 20 April, I have chased to find that my items aren’t even scheduled to leave the UK until 14 May - TEN WEEKS after customs clearance.

Leader’s position on this is that as I paid for a ‘shared container’ option, timelines aren’t guaranteed. Essentially: I didn’t pay enough for them to come close to trying to honour the estimated timelines they have consistently presented as a good indicator of what to expect. This is completely unacceptable, and they fail to acknowledge that they have in any way misled or mis-sold me.

My impression is that Leader are also at the mercy of Hunts International Removals, the 'partner company' who are managing the onwards delivery from the UK to Germany. Hunts have explicitly told me that their vehicle just ‘isn’t full enough’ to send to Germany yet. When they are being more careful, they say instead that they don’t have ‘truck availability’ at this time. Given customs cleared weeks ago, however, this would then suggest they are incredibly poorly resourced, posing as a professional outfit. In either case, Leader should be furious that their partner is so ill-equipped to serve their customers.

There is no reason that my delivery cannot be expedited, except that it does not make business sense for the companies handling my belongings to do so. It is a form of temporary theft: ‘We have your stuff. You’ve paid for it to be with you and it should be with you already. But you can’t have it for another four or five weeks, because we’ll lose too much money doing it another way.’

On top of the fees I’ve already paid (over £1,500), I’m out of pocket several hundred euros for household items I have had to buy since I don’t have my shipment yet and am now in a new property in a new country.

No form of compensation, apology, or problem-solving has been presented. I continue to wait, frustrated and distressed. I will update when I finally have my shipment, where I hope, at the very least, my belongings are still in good condition.

I would not recommend this company. The initial contact with them in the UAE was good and the packing up of the house went well. However all our belongings had to be repacked in Oman and when unpacking at final destination it was a disaster. Items appeared to have been thrown into boxes with no consideration of keeping to the packing procedure followed during the initial packing. As a result items were broken or damaged. Clothes which had been placed in hanging boxes were just dumped into normal boxes (suits were crumpled and unwearable). Posters were crushed (these may be low value but have sentimental value to the children). Boxes of documents were placed inside upside down with no lid. Items from inside the house were placed in boxes with garden items. These are just examples. We had to pay a significant amount of money in addition to the original quotation for this second packing which was conducted in the most unprofessional and negligent manner. A full report was sent to the company with images and we are still waiting three months later for an apology or even just an acknowledgement.

In response to Leader response:

Our move to the UAE was unavoidable and hence we contacted what we thought was a professional moving company to help us overcome the restrictions. I strongly disagree with your assessment above. Storage and physical shipment of the items did not cause the damage. We paid additional money for what we thought would be a professional repacking of our possessions in Oman. The service we got was a disgrace as I have demonstrated in the images sent to you in a report. We did not get what we paid the extra money for.

I have attached a few images giving some examples of what was found when boxes were opened. This is NOT professional packing. These items may be of low monetary value but do have sentimental value and should not just be dumped into boxes.

Fair service - however, beware of the insurance that Leaders provide. I would advise you to arrange your own insurance, as the one provided wasn't clarified fully. I am thoroughly disappointed by the Leaders team for their lack of transparency on how exactly the insurance policy works and how much money is deducted in the event of a claim being made.

Highly recommended. I used them to move my stuff from Dubai to Auckland and they have done an excellent job right from the start of staff behavior, friendliness, taking care of fragile items and packing them carefully taking it all the way till door delivery and unpacking. I was actively updated of the progress. The shipment arrived in less than three weeks and nothing went missing or damaged during transit. Their counterparts in NZ Conroy Removals were very helpful too. Feel free to ask for anything more on these guys.

Saju couldn't do enough to assist us at every stage and we were delighted to receive our shipment on time and all in one piece! I used Leader Relocations to move furniture from Dubai to Italy. The service was excellent. The company agents were very responsive in visiting and arranging quotes, the packing service highly efficient (and effective as no breakages). We used a local agent in Italy, recommended by Leaders Relocation network. All the administration and advice surrounding the move (insurance, customs declarations and tax etc,) worked very efficiently. Prior to signing up with Leaders Relocation we received quotes from 4 other companies and Leaders Relocation were the most competitive on pricing. I would definitely recommend this service and intend to re-use LR at a future date.

Five star experience right through. Greatest part for me was the excellent packing. Not a single item was missing, not a piece of crockery cracked. Can highly recommend Leadership, particularly their attention to detail. The Coordinator, Umair was with me right from the beginning to the end of the move. Harri, their sales agent said they prided themselves in their packing and that was right on the mark. Materials they used were amazing, the boxes quality of the best,. Well done Leadership! For me this was five star service for sure

The best moving company I have ever experienced, with highly skilled and efficient staff, I am grateful to you and your staff , for the great service, who packed all furniture and hose hold items, moved from Dubai to USA in whole 40Ft container, and frequent updates on the shipment. All furniture and fragile items were intact, no breakage, nothing missing. In fact your local partners in other countries are very cordial and professional who off loaded and assembled the furniture and took good care of the new house without any damages.
