Worst tourism company ever. Rude staff, They dont attend their calls, they answered once and they told me their office is on the airport road and asked me to google it, i checked on google maps it was nowhere to be found, i called again and no one picked up for almost two days, waited 45 mins outside a building waiting for them to answer, they didn answer and my voucher is of no use now.

I went to Desert Safari with Lama , I hired the exclusive Land Cruiser for AED 900, driver talks too much , limited time for dune bashing , dropped us at camp so early so he could bring more tourist in-spite of the fact that I have paid for , regarding Veg Food is horrible , In the name of Veg they serve Yellow Dal , white rice and Noodle which has no salt and getting smell as well and no taste ,
Regarding Shisha Initially while booking they will say it is complementary and included in package but it is not ..while reaching to the camp it is chargeable of AED 50 , and when you ask for free they will give you cheap look and rudely told me nothing is free and free shisha will start after dinner , but they didn't start the complimentary shisha.

Not recommended to spent too much for this horrible experience better to go with local travel agents with more cheaper price.

If you pay online they till you that you have to pay again cash to the driver and they do not return your money. I had to open a case on paypal to return my money.
The car was old: hand handle was broken(it is very important in the safari)
it is a very low quality trip .
the driver was not nice and the hole time spoke on the mobile . it was very dangerous to drive and play with mobile ALL the time

As discussed, below are my feedback on the Desert Safari trip arranged by Lama Travels.

1. The driver, "Yashir" was EXTREMELY RASH in his driving

2. Despite the fact that there were kids in the vehicle , the driver didn't seem to care at all

3. We were physically hurt due to the sudden HARD bouncing of the vehicle not once but multiple times

4. The 6 year old kid kept on saying please drive slow, but the driver has other agenda

5. There was no security briefing from the driver.

6. On his way back, apparently he was driving very fast without any reason.

7. There was already a passenger sitting in the front seat of the car, about whom we had no clue. There was no introduction and the driver mostly chit chatted with him in his local language.

Over all a very "BAD DRIVING EXPERIENCE"

About CAMP:

1. WE were given location towards the back.

2. There was NO Welcome Sweet.

3. The snacks were inadequate and the Distributors were very Rude.

4. The shows were lack luster NOT Impressive

5. The Dinner especially the Non-veg sections were very badly managed

7. The hospitality shown by the Camp staff was extremely poor.

Overall, I WILL NOT RECOMMEND LAMA TOUR's DESERT SAFARI.

A pretty long review, bear with it, just as how much we had to bear with their absolute bullshit.
Worst tours and travels company of Dubai, by far, hands down. Do not be fooled by the photo of Shah Rukh Khan and what not they might advertise. These set of unprofessionals got a stroke of luck and are high above their heads about themselves. Booked a full package of 7 people for the desert safari, on the 3rd of January 2017 for the 4th, as a well deserved family trip. The driver, Ismail, arrived perfectly on time with everything ready, but unfortunately his SUV, a Nissan Patrol, had broken down, which was not a problem at all, there is no control over these mishaps. But a company is judged on the basis of how they a control a situation when their ship sinks, left a family of 7 on the road in emirates hills, did not have the courtesy to provide a ride home atleast. We were ready to ask for a refund and continue with another brand, but a good samaritan by the name rochelle, convinced us to continue with lama, and promised a package for the next day, so we trusted her. Guess that was our second mistake after trusting these people in the first place. today, the 5th of january, we have waited for an hour and a half almost, I am writing this while waiting for an absolute atrocity of a worker, a driver named abdul, who, by his tone of speaking, is almost doing us a favor by "reaching you when i can get time, ill reach, lets see". An absolute shame to dubai's tourism.
Moreover, over all of this, the company had the audacity of not reporting the 4th's fiasco to higher authorities. A man named chetan, when told about our situation yesterday, was completely oblivious that something had even occurred.
Tread safely while using this company. Will never recommend using them.

We had such an unpleasent experience with lama tours. Driver/guide were completely not friendly and we have experienced following issues from the drivers.
1. Explanation of the route plan of the tour was not done which let us completely unaware about the precautions to be taken during dune dash. The duration of dune dash was not specified upfront.
2. Lack of experience and coordination between two drivers (as weve taken two 4wds) which made one driver to search for another driver that result in unnecessary routes that prolonged the dune dash. There is no buddy buddy principle resulted in missing the vehicle.
3. Drivers didn't maintain proper timings. Dune dashing was at its worst. Driver did not know the route to his own camp, we had roam in middle of no where for more than one hour. No proper safety precautions mention ewhich resulted in injury.
I suggest the tour operators should.instruct the drivers to explain the tourists in upfront on their route plan and timings to reach the entertainment camp.

It was memorable experience for me and my family right from pickup to drop from hotel. Our driver Abdul Rehman was very cooperating. I was astonished to see that he speaks hindi better than we people. Any way Dune Bashing, Henna painting, Camel rides, Snacks, BBQ starters, Veg dinner, Belly dance, Tanura dance and Fire dance were superb. I thank LAMA Tours (especially Mr.Mahesh) to make my whole DUBAI tour memorable for life.
Definitely I will again go with LAMA tours during my next visit to DUBAI.
