It used to be the best Kinokuniya I've visited. However, they moved to a new store as the mall is undergoing renovations. The store is now right opposite the metro entrance.

Favorite bookstore in all of dubai! I love coming to the mall and exploring this bookstore. They have so many books. They did recently move! They were closed for a couple of weeks but now they are right across from the metro link.

THE BEST BOOKSHOP in the whole of the UAE. I try to visit it every now and then when I'm in Dubai Mall, they have a huge variety of books from comics to self help, etc.

I don't think its shut down indefinitely, I read somewhere that they're just moving to another location in Dubai Mall. Fingers crossed they come back soon!!

It would be awesome if they had a study area where people can just sit and read stuff in this new location.

It WAS a good bookstore. Visited one week, open. The next, CLOSED. I walked around the third floor of the mall for a good 30 minutes before asking one of the security staff what became of the bookstore because I could not find it! He told me it closed indefinitely. Don't know what happened. The clear glass that used to encase the bookstore and allowed for a view into the store was now replaced with a white wall like it had never been there before. The thing that upsets me more than not alerting customers of their status is that they haven't updated it online. If you search them online they still appear to be open with normal operating times. Please read this and save yourself the trip to the mall if your looking to get to the bookstore.
