Lovely weekend driving spotthe drive to and up the mountain is second to none for this region. Would recommend starting early and trying to catch the sunrise on the waycarry a picnic basket..it could be fun on top of the mountain.. there are restrooms at different rest areas towards the top of the mountain.

No need to go anywhere for sunrise or sunset points this offers you the most amazing view of sunrise with cool breeze.

This is the last available step on the way to the peak. The road is closed ahead as Oman border is close to that place and military people control the peak itself. You can enjoy the view, buy some snack, breath the fresh air and go down. Good luck!

The drive is amazing with roads that are world class. At the top the facilities have improved drastically and are being worked on- another achievement. Overall if the weather permits, this is a must do especially in winters. The roads make the entire experience worth a repeat. Bravo RAK!!!

A good road trip.
This place has become famous for road trips. One of the best mountainous roads you'll ever see. A driver's dream road.
Lights are not there at night so it's advisable to drive during day light. Please do stay safe and follow the rules on the side of the roads.response / report this review
