Its one of the highest mountain in UAE. But closed for expatriates. You can drive 1/4 of the way to top then military will stop you and will say its not allowed to go up. We have to return back. Cant see anything. Its Waste of time all the way you drive

The Drive is awsome, Zig zag roads. ou get a feeling of riding the Ghat roads of India. Mostly no vehicles at all. Its bascially you climb on mountain, decsent it into a valley and then you climb the second one. the military check post doesnt allow you to go any where from that point.

But for a ride its awsome.

Nothing much to do here; but you will enjoy the drive on the steep zig zag road to the top. You cannot visit to the top most portion as there are military installations and you are not allowed to go there. Hikers may enjoy this place. There are no toilets/rest rooms or shops on way. Be prepared if you plan for a visit.
