I stopped in at lunch one day not dressed like I would be buying a hand made rug, but Ahmed approached me anyway and offered to show me rugs and find out what I was looking for.
Amazing food at reasonable prices. Jonnie, the owner is a cool guy too.
Best sandwiches ever! I have tried the chicken cheesequake and the Bronx Bomb, both delicious, full of flavor. The best thing about their sandwiches is the bread, it's very soft. I'm not very fond of spicy food, so I didn't order spicy sauce with them, but the aioli has some nice, subtle spicy kick in it. The meat is very fresh and well seasoned, friendly service.
I thought the gyro was good, and a solid value for SF. It wasn't the usual frozen, thin-sliced stuff most places serve in place of meat.
Bunch of damn whiners on Yelp anymore, BTW. You want gloves, go to Chipotle (no one ever gets sick there, right?).
Have been shopping in Seattle, but this is great! I love the story behind the company, the tea lights are unbelievably beautiful, and you can feel good about your purchases -- you'll be giving with each one you buy. They were my main Christmas gifts this year.
