The room carpets were not vacuumed during my 5-day stay. Otherwise, the rooms are kept well. There's housekeeping everyday. The staff were also very helpful, especially Rona at the front desk. She was very kind. There was 1 male and 1 female that were not so friendly at the front desk but I will reserve their names because I don't want to put them on blast. Food options are limited in the hotel but you're in Dubai There's food all over outside. Importantly, this hotel is located in "old" Dubai - not against the skyline but Deira is a beautiful town.

Great service, customer care. Absolutely love this hotel and everything about it especially the "spice island" restaurant inside it provides an amazing fusion of different tastes.. All the staffs are incredibly accommodating and they made my entire stay memorable..

The hotel is very nice especially the pool.
The vibes in Harry's Bar & Restaurant are so nice and fun. The cocktails are tasty and they have variety of food. I would like to thank all the staff who were very helpful. Especially Angelo, Ivy, Majed and Joseph. We will definitely come back again.response / report this review -

My parents stayed in this hotel for 3 days. They were very satisfied with the services and facilities. This hotel have a professional staff. They are profession in their job. One of them is "Samar". She was above and beyond. All staff are extremely helpful and kind. Guest matter is their matter. They all try to help you. If I travel to Dubai I will definitely stay at this hotel. I really appreciate their work and all their efforts. 100% recommend this hotel for accommodation.

It was very excellent. They have a good tasty food and warm water in pool! I'll be back sooner. They also have a complete tools and equipment in gym room. The washroom and room was very clean and neat, we assisted by Ms.Theresa Santos. She was very nice by handling us in the hotel!

Cosy convenient hotel in old Dubai. The rooms are really spacious with new and clean furniture, bathroom is in a very good condition. What I disliked though about the rooms is that you have to order everything that you require (ear buds, slippers, extra robe, etc) they are not there by default which is very annoying
Close to a metro station and with own parking space. There is a hotel car always on standby on the entrance should you need a ride but it is way more overpriced than regular taxi or Uber. better go for regular taxiresponse / report this review -

Very friendly service. Good food. Need new towels. Half enclosed tub shower is a strange choice but fine. Room seems a bit dated. Didn't have the feel of a true 5 star

Lovely hotel in old Deira neighborhood of Dubai. Convenient to the airport and near old Souqs (markets). A fair taxi ride across Old Dubai Creek to ultra modern downtown and palm islands.

Was there for 3 nights on a business trip. Had my event also happening in the same place.

Spice Island is the restaurant inside Crowne Plaza, where a sumptuous buffet breakfast is served from 6am to 10 am every morning.
There's local Middle Eastern, Far Eastern, European and South Asian food to be enjoyed with freshly baked breads, rolls and croissants. Only the fruits counter carried over fifteen varieties of fruits, that's excluding the fruits dried and made into rhubarbs etc. Coffee was served piping hot by the courteous staff waiting anxiously to serve each and every one of the guests.
Though the ambience was fine, a little effort to keep up with the fast changing trends would help bring crispness to the air. It's not holiday season, but more than 50% of the tables were full. I came back very satisfied.response / report this review -

It is a good hotel situated in the densely packed residential area. Visited there for few professional commitment 2-3 times.the food was excellent in the Spice Island restaurant. My favourite is the fish salad which the chef makes in front of us with the choice of fish and veggies.Ambience is very good. Spread out on first floor. They serve almost all kinds of cuisine.

The staff here are extremely accommodating, even tho the hotel is above average, but not an Atlantis or a Four Seasons, the employees here make you feel like you're at a 5 star hotel, rooms are clean, 4th floor pool area is really nice and has a bar and food area, Abdur, the server at the pool area was outstanding, very impressed.
The hotel restaurant has an all you can eat breakfast and dinner, the food choices are unbelievable. The location is close to the airport, but a little bit of a drive to all the attractions downtown, but then the hotel costs are reasonable because of that. This is the only hotel I stay in whenever I'm in Dubai. It's close to the airport but not too close. It's near public transportation, and shopping and restaurants are close by.
You will have a conceriage 24 hours a day to take your luggage. At least 2 or 3 different people greet you as you arrive. The lobby is majestic. Up the escalator and it's spacious and well laid out. The front desk is tucked away in the back which I like. The rooms are all wonderful. If you dine in, I recommend Spice Island and their dinner buffet. Good hotel with helpful staff. Terrible location access wise but there are plenty of taxis available 24/7. You could spend a month here without having to leave the front door, and given it is in Dubai that might not be a bad thing. Recommended.

We reached at the hotel at 4:30 pm the room was not ready yet, had to wait for another 20 minutes. Receptionist welcome us a first visit though its our second visit, requested non smoking higher floor, but Receptionist said only in the second floor wt non smoking rooms, apparently our room is in 541 which is also a non smoking floor. When we got in the room, room odor was awful, had to call housekeeping for a spray, asked for bedroom slippers and toothbrush. The lavatory was not so cleaned, some stains on it are still visible. Lastly the AC had some leakage, Engineering staff advised us to transfer to another room..what a great stay, thought this hotel maintained still wt a 5 star brand standards.

Conveniently located in the heart of the city, not far from a metro station. It house a restaurant that hosts a very good brunch - Spice Island.
