Last week we had an emergency on the Saturday morning with our old German Shepherd, Nero. While playing, the ball got stuck in his throat and we rushed him to the British Vet where the amazing dr. Tamara supported us. In seconds she assessed the situation, took control, and by the external extraction technique she removed the ball. She literally saved the life of our boy. Our sincere gratitude for her professionalism and applying a technique that didn’t need any surgery. Nero is happy playing with a big ball now 😁. Dr Tamara, thank you again! Mike and Hanna

One of the most amazing experiences I had when importing my big Labrador from Vietnam to Dubai. The service from the team was very professional and the best part was all I had to do was just wait for my boy to be delivered. From processing all the import documents, vet checks and legal animal import matters, BVC took care of it all.
Constant communication, which was important as the stress was huge not knowing how your fur baby will handle the long travel. I am grateful to Safa and her team and Allan for bringing my boy over the seas safe and sound.
Thank you for the service and recommend them for ease of mind relocating your fur babies.

I did the relocation of my pet with their team. The staff was able to clarify all the doubts that were raised also was the one that provided the most competitive price. Their offer all the ways that I could do the relocation with the different options (cabin, cargo or additional bag). Their staff was super responsive when required and supportive to clarify any doubt. Thanks to them I’m reunited with my lovely pet!

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at BVC for the support and care we received during the toughest time of our lives when Bruno was diagnosed with lymphoma. From the reception team—RJ, Sheryl, Mark, and Paul—to the nursing team at the dog wards who looked after him, and especially Bruno’s favorite Vet Nurse,
Ms. Batool, who administered his chemo, and the wonderful Dr. Nick and our hero oncologist, Dr. Monica, who helped us until the very end.

Your unwavering support, dedication, and compassion made a world of difference. Bruno is no longer suffering, and we know that we did everything possible to make his life better before we had to say goodbye. Thank you for everything.

Zoe from British veterinary centre has proven incredibly helpful in bringing our little dog Elvis to Dubai. Without her we would have given up before starting, since the process of relocation of a dog with Spanish passport was super complicated when leaving from the UK. She was incredibly professional and nice and helpful, we really appreciated that.

What was supposed to be a nightmare of a pet relocation was miraculously saved and handled by British Vet, led by Safa, and with great assistance from Allan and RJ. We migrated in the US and our cats was supposed to be sent a few days after our flight. Safa was very hands-on and really responsive when you have questions. She even gave us a fairly priced, competitive quotation and helped us coordinate with the US Customs experts in the USA. On the day of the 1st attempt of export clearance check, our cats unfortunately was found to have Ringworm. Safa and the doctors decided with integrity and empathy to postpone the clearance check until the cats are cured of the fungus. They were very composed and always coordinated with us for the cat's entire treatment. For the whole month that we were treating the cats, Safa and Allan closely spoke to us of the progress and how to ensure the quickest yet effective way to treat the cats. They even responded to me during holidays and after-hours which is a really great service. They were very transparent with the fees and assisted us in ensuring that we spend with quality for the treatment and the trip. On the 3rd attempt to have them export cleared, the cats were found to be cleared of ringworm and Safa was very efficient and quick in arranging the closest available flight for the cats to fly. She also gave very detailed and meticulous instructions on how to ensure the convenience, safety and comfort of the cats during the flight and also in preparing the travel cage, food and water of the cats. She was also very thorough in checking all documents so we are firmly assured that the Customs in the UAE and in the US will find the docs in order. When the cats arrived, I can't thank BVC, Safa and her team enough for their great aid in ensuring that the entire adventure of our cats are accomplished. They were well hydrated and not left out of shape following the long trip. It's all because of the proactive planning and pointers that BVC gave ahead of the flight. Five (and more) stars to the entire team! They're THE team for Pet Relocation.

My cat showed symptoms of a viral infection earlier this week. The BVC (main branch in Abu Dhabi) scheduled him an appointment that same day despite the busy post-holidays. However, as his symptoms grew worse, the clinic accommodated the cat right away. The cat stayed a the clinic for 3 days receiving all of the possible care he can get, but ultimately, with viruses, it’s up to the cats own immune system to fight it off. During this time, we received 12 hour reports on his status and were in frequent communication with the staff. They even let us visit and try to feed him when he wouldn’t eat. My cat seems to have made a full recovery and I truly think it’s because of the quick care (paired with the luck that he’s an otherwise healthy, young adult).

We dealt intimately with many staff at all levels of the clinic - Sheryl, Mark, Dr. Martin, Jumar, Elpi and our regular vet, Dr. Nick (I apologize for the many names I didn’t obtain). Everyone was kind, professional and did their absolute best at managing us and our cat’s health during a tough time. Even the boarding staff, who took care of our cat when we went away this summer, were in communication with the ward nurses on how our cat normally eats / behaves.

This is a tough business - outside of routine services, emergencies can be expensive and emotional. Dr. Nick and Dr. Martin did a great job at giving us options and avoiding unnecessary costs without compromising the cats well being.

I’m so grateful for everyone involved. I’ve used the BVC since the cat was a kitten and will continue to use their services.

    Thank you, BVC!

---- June 2023 Update on Pet Relocation Services ----

I had the pleasure of working with Safa and the BVC to relocate my cat from Abu Dhabi to New York City. The BVC handled every minute detail: supplying an appropriate sized crate, escorting the cat through mandatory pre-flight government health inspections, organizing the flight, and picking him up to board the flight. Safa also connected us with a team in the US that helped with the import process at JFK, who also did a fantastic job. Safa was kind, communicative and dependable. Overall, I am really happy with this service, though very sad to say goodbye to all of our friends and Dr. Nick at the BVC.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE! I was charged for a substandard health check (the doctor did not check the cat's temperature, check the quality of its coat, consider that the cat was underweight compared to its brother or that it was depressed). I was then charged for vaccinations after the doctor gave it a clean bill of health. Two weeks later my cat had to be put to sleep with a confirmed diagnosis of FIP. I asked the doctor to call me back and it took a week before I got a mouthful of excuses and apologies.

Bad medicine, bad service and I am no longer a customer. Try the very helpful, patient Dr Beulah at Falcon Hospital instead.

I took my two cats to be neutered and one of them developed complications post surgery so when I took her back the doctors started blaming each other and she had to undergo a second surgery.. In addition to the overrated prices the doctors prescribe unneeded medicines and charge you extra if u exceed 10 mns per consultation.. I paid 1,000 dirhams during a regular visit when my cats had only diarrhea so u can imagine the inflated bills.. I strongly do not recommend this place
