Thank you so much for suggesting me to consult American Dental Clinic, Jumeira Road.
My appointment was with Dr. Hala Al Sakka, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Dr. Hala and Nurse Mukaddas for taking timely response. It was hard for me to hear that teeth needed to be pulled out! Thank you for going over the X-rays in detail and explaining the problem. I express my gratefulness towards to them for taking appropriate care during the extraction procedure at their clinic.
Procedure rates are reasonable as well, I would recommend this clinic to ISOS, family and friends 😊response / report this review -

I do not recommend this dental facility. My wife and I both went her for routine cleaning and it was not a good experience. First, the facility and equipment is very dated and in some cases broken. In the Doctor's office the monitor kept flicking on and off in the chair, the light was broken, and the table for the dental instruments was broken so tools would slide off. Additionally, the medical doctor recommended my wife to remove her wisdom teeth prior to examining her condition (which is not recommended for her situation). Please conduct your exam before making clinical decision. Finally, the payment was nearly 1000 AED for the services. I had a 15% discount but they said it was not applicable for dental cleaning (not mentioned anywhere on the discount or by the staff until after the services were performed). Needless to say, I wont be going back.

I had scale & polish and caries treatment done in American Dental Clinic. Results are great. I'm very satisfied with the services provided. Professional doctors who know exactly how to provide the best treatment. Moreover I didn't have a feeling that I was in the clinic, the ambiance there is so cozy so you feel like you are a guest not a patient.

Dr. Michael Ziegler, founder and head dentist, is world class. Every new cutting edge procedure he knows, because he returns to the Panka Institute (the Harvard of dentistry) for further study every year. He is both a dentist and a pharmacist and graduated from one of the top dental schools in the U.S. American expats posted as far as Kazakhstan fly in for care. He usually works with 2 assistants and they are both licensed dentists, not just hygienists.He owns his own lab, so he has control over the crowns, veneers and implants he uses. One of his specialties is dental implants and he deals with very difficult dental cases. Dr. Ziegler is a perfectionist. He also does NOT do unnecessary work to soak clients, because he doesn't have to, as he has more work than he can handle. I lived in New York City and CA and have never found a dentist better than Dr. Ziegler. I was a resident in Dubai for 10 years and am lucky to have had him as my dentist.

Contrary to the name of this business, we did not encounter an American dentist at this facility. We went in for a check up, which the dentist completed very quickly while her daughter roamed around the exam room playing with the instruments and distracting her mother. We were recommended to get very expensive work done without given any options. It felt like it was all a sales pitch and not for the best interest of our dental hygiene. Neither my husband nor I will be returning.
