When using Google Maps, make sure to drive on the road until you see the sign board to the right. Otherwise the Navigation will tell you to go into the desert which is a wrong direction!!!
The place was in the middle of no-where but the impound lot was good compared to other Emirates I have seen.
Car was parked properly with adequate space and no damage, windows were kept closed and no missing items inside. Heavily dusty as expected.
The process of collection is easy, just make sure you have the release letter from the police before you go there to collect.
You may be able to see your car but you need a permission letter from the police station.
If you have a sports car and the front bumper is low, you might have a little difficulty exiting because the exit point/gate has some deep grooves. Mine was a bit low but managed to get out unscathed. Just a little scrape.

If your car is taken by baldiya in sharjah please first go to industrial area 5 "Municipal Inspection & Control Department" opposite Ramez Mall. you will have to pay fine in cash only (no credit or debit card). You will need copy of your Mulkiya and emirates ID. working timing is 7:30AM to 2:30PM from Sunday to Thursday.

It's very far. there is no proper sign boards, you must have a GPS.
If your car is impounded, they will ask you for driving license, mulkia and the paper for the ticket (fine). Then they will take your key after you have parked your car in their yard. They will give you a paper which you are suppose to take to "Sharjah Traffic Department" and get the release paper. (Please note that you should go to the traffic department office on the last day of your impounded period.. for example, if your car is impounded for 7 days, go on the 7th day to traffic department and get the release papers). You are suppose to pay your fine online before you go to the traffic department office or you can just pay there. Traffic department office will give you your car release papers on the last day of your impoundment period. On date of the release, you go back to Al Lubsah Car impound yard and pick your car. If in case you delay and not collect the car on the same release date, you will be fined 50 Dhs daily after the impound period.
