Early January, I went to Pas la Casa in a school organised snow trip. And I must say, even though Frontera Blanca was not a perfect apartment, it undoubtedly contributed to a great snow experience.

It was my first time skiing, and it can't go without saying that the ski material provided by the apartments renting stores. Alongside each room there was access to a private locker. Although it was certainly helpful, they were somewhat small considering that there were 4 people per room, which made the storing of the equipment quite a process.

Regarding the apartments themselves, they were of sufficient size, with one bunk bed and one expandable sofa-bed, for two people. One critique that needs to be made is the fact that there was no particular place where to leave our clothes drying. Even with an expandable set of strings, it was not strong enough to hold the clothes of four people, and the boots did not quite fit in the bathtub, making the drying process an obnoxious one. Furthermore, we noticed that there was a lack of cleaning materials and that they were not evenly distributed through the apartments, as my room had no lack of washing machine gel but no cloth to clean plates, while one other had several cloths but no washing sponge.

However, the price wasn't from another world, which made it a good choice after all. Most cooking materials were at our disposal, so we could not complain.

Overall, we agreed that the apartment was not a tremendously good over the top experience, but it was a bearable one. Considering its location, and the fact that it has several restaurants, one good supermarket and the stance was just a few steps away. It made Frontera Blanca the best choice our school could have made and has made for years now. To conclude, I would recommend these apartments to any skiers and snowboarders heading to Pas de La Casa, which I would undoubtedly choose again, with or without my school if I ever return.

Rooms could be more quiet. Overall conditions could be better. It's extremely close to slopes so this compensates a lot.

Great cheap budget apartment complex perfect for students. Load noise from Student groups may be a problem. In building Ski equipment service and 20 second walk to supermarket

Really good location, fairly good price, but...

    The hotel is rather tacky
    The building is really messy
People (locals) appear to find it ok to smoke in the corridors
Asked to clean the room before checking out
    Staff are reluctant to help

Wifi is the worst I've ever used, dropping connection and slow speeds, to the point of not even being able to send a WhatsApp. - oh and it's limited to 600MB a day (which I guess you'll never really reach anyway, would take too long to download)

Not really recommended, but worked ok for a week.

Great value for money and a fantastic location next to the slopes.
Accommodation is very basic and tired but clean.
