The worst experience we have had during our 1,5 months road trip in Southern Europe so far. We booked a Family room for 2 adults and 2 kids. When we arrived to the hotel in the evening, the receptionist told us arrogantly without any excuse there was no available room for us and she could give us only a 2-bed room or cancel our reservation (!). I showed her the booking option on the hotel's website where a family room was still offered, however she replied that was a mistake in the system. I asked her to call the manager, however she said the manager was not there and she couldn't do anything. As it was late in the evening and we had a little baby with us, we took the 2-bed room where an extra bed was additionally placed (which took another 30 minutes of waiting).
Very unprofessional, never again.

There is no air conditioning in a 4-star hotel, with summer's temperatures up to 35 degrees C!! Cannot open the windows because the area around is FOR smokers and they use it. Therefore there is no way to have fresh air into the room at all. Rather obsolete setting, nice people for service but the paper basket smelled like rotten garbage and the restaurant is just average, or not worth the price, and quite slow. I used a nice offer, but would not pay this price again, less the full price of it.

It was an unpleasant surprise to find stuff which was arrogant and has never had any formal training. They were not bad but they have never had any kind of formal training and did not know how to react. Another issue was absence of any kind of a manager. No chance to complaint. They (junior staff) just told you that they were a self managed hotel.😣😣😣😣 Manager -the only one - was on holidays. "The manager has to have holidays"- was the answer.
All other things - 4 days to fix the door knob, 5 days to get instructions fir the safe box, bad food at breakfast, many othercthings - you can find in trip advisor. Not to write this stuff again.

Very well situated hotel for my purposes. Not to be visited again. Have no desire to manage personell in the absence of its manager.

Just nearly forgot to mention that they (Abba) have just absorbed a very nice hotel behind them - Ritz hotell.
Do not recommend to visit now.

Nice location, but the building is a bit noisy, thin walls between the rooms. You can hear the neighbours talking. Not the most updated hotel
