...
Good day all,
Well we had another brilliant mini league tournament yesterday with 17 skiers participating. Our new slalom course buoys were installed and the course was looking spectacular.
It was encouraging to see some new skiers joining in and posting some good first time scores. A big thank you to all the spectators too, we had a great crowd of 40 or so out there.
Attached are the results from yesterday. Some skiers progressed really well in their league categories, well done For those that moved up a league from the last mini league, well done for your effort, it is not easy having to adjust and go through the gates for the first time, the gates can be quite daunting but hang in there it does get easier. We also had a few spectacular falls, I hope those who did are all ok today!
Just a note on the handicaps, once we have 6 or more scores in the system for you then your handicap shall be a true reflection of your skiing abilities. So for now the handicaps may be a little distorted. Please don't worry about them too much, the more important thing to look at is what your best round score is and to try and better it at the next league.
A big thank you to all the organizers, drivers and scorers but most importantly thank you to all the skiers who participated. Some photo's shall be posted on our FB page in the next few days.
Happy skiing....
Regards
