The soup was fantastic! Tomato cream 🤙🏼 comes with a little bread and we put a bit of the spicy orange sauce in it to give it a little kick. The BLT also on point☝🏼
The cappuccino was good but an odd mix with what I ordered 🙅🏼♀️ my bad! I’d recommend coming here and sitting outside in the fresh air, although the interior looks cute as well.
Great venue for a bite to eat, or even a coffee/smoothie. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Also has WiFi.
Lovely environment. with great eats and ever smiling staff! Well done Washington, Nokuthula and Vannessa- your service was awesome!!
Fantastic atmosphere especially with live music. Food is great and service excellent
Excellent location of this well decorated cafe. I could spend hours at this cafe and take in the intoxicating aroma of the coffee brewing.
Their menu is also very well put together with their deserts being a real eye catcher...
See you there for a cup of coffee soon!!
OK, so I have mixed feelings. The ambience is nice. The outside patio seating under the tent is great. The food is very pricey, and they misrepresented at least one item.
The main courses listed under "Mains" were between $15 and $18. Coffee prices are fair $2-$4 depending on the item. Breakfast dishes are a bit expensive too - the cheapest "plate" was $6 but the others were $12 IIRC, for the same plate that we got in Bulawayo the day before for ~$8.
Here's the rub: they advertise "Jumbo Muffins" for $3, so we decided to get a jumbo muffin and split it along with a couple of other dishes.
The muffin they brought out was TINY - barely the size of a regular muffin. Definitely not enough for 2 people. When we asked about that and pointed out that the menu says they're jumbo and that's what we expected, the waitress confirmed that was all they had; there was no acknowledgement of the advertising discrepancy. When we said we didn't want it, she took it back. Bringing our main dishes, she said that the manager had removed it from our bill - it's like, "well, duh". We didn't order a miniature muffin, and we didn't eat it, so of course we weren't going to pay for it. The way it was presented was like the manager did us some big favor, which of course is not the case.
The ice coffee we ordered is also not an iced coffee - it's a blended coffee shake like a frappe. Not a bad thing, but it's also not what's listed on the menu.
The $6 breakfast plate was also tiny, but I suppose that is to make the $12 ones seem like a better deal.
On a different note, the $7 French toast with bananas was amazing! Some of the best French toast I've ever had, but it also came with no sides, so be prepared to pay out for those and maybe get not what you expected.
Good food, slightly expensive. Portions are on the small side. The fresh juices are great, we had 2 different ones and loved them. The halloumi wrap was good, but small. The salad was as well. Service was passable but failed to deliver everything as ordered (no tomatoes on the salad). They serve breakfast lunch and dinner, I'd definitely go again for another meal.
Lovely lunch here good service and friendly staff
Very chick. Nice to sit outside and watch the buzz of the very busy Little town. Close to banks; shops and hotels. Everything is expensive. But that is Zimbabwe tourism.
Food is delicious and the staff very efficient.
Good place for a drink and for a bite to eat people are friendly and the food is wel cooked and the prices are more than reassemble
Lovely place to stop by for a bite to eat and we enjoyed a delicious 😋 burger here with a decent plate of chips and sauce. Thank you for the excellent service Andile and awesome 😎 time here. It was also cool 😎 to have the mist fans whilst having our lunch and this really helped to cool 😎 us down in the sweltering heat of Victoria Falls. Thx.
The three course meal is great.. good steak and a delicious desert
Great food and service so far from home in Sydney. Hip styled cafe, indoor cooled by misting fans, where we sat. Outside alfresco seating areas. Nice crowd of folks on safari. Good food menu and reasonably priced. Lunch for 3 pax was $50 with drinks
The Place is awesome. The service is so amazing and the people are so friendly. The food is spectacular and if you do any activities with shearwater you get free Wi-Fi when you are at the cafe.
Went in, looked at the menu - bland everyday fare. Nothing jumped out at me and said stay and try. Ended up going else where. Staff uninterested in asking if they could assist us. Struck me as it might be where the locals go for their Friday happy hour.
Fantastic food great service convenient location.
Centrally located in the "Falls" it is one of the better eateries. Very popular, the food was very good and the entertainment from Black Mamba Man" capped an excellent eve. Well recomended.
Beautiful spot! Though gets busy at lunch times, with or without bookings, its a 'nightmare'...staff is helpful..but service takes ages......
Excellent well priced food. Great ambience and service.
A place to be You can never go wrong, thumbs up to the Shearwater Café team
The food is really nice and tasty, and very good with live music.
The waiter was soo friendly, the food was delicious, they have live performances and atmosphere was pleasant
Great food and drink selection. Friendly staff and nice decor!
The food is delicious, service is quick and the price is worth the meal.
Good food but very poor service and left waiting for too long without being served.
Good location, good choice of food, drinks and smoothies. Really expensive though.
Nice cafe badly let down by insane prices (cheaper to go to the wonderful old colonial Victoria Falls Hotel!) and absolutely terrible wifi system. Difficult for vegans too but the place has great potential if issues sorted.
