Founded in 1988, Musasa is an NGO whose operations are based on advocacy, peace building and provision of direct services such as counselling, legal aid,medical assistance, life skills and temporary shelter to survivors of GBV
Musasa encourages families to report all cases of rape to the Police who are responsible for investigating allegations of rape and gathering evidence. Families face difficulties when it comes to making decisions on rape because rape cases present different challenges which require the services of professionals due to the effect it has on their lives and those close to them.
