Mubatsiri Investments (Private) Limited focuses on the collection and dissemination of agricultural market information.

Mubatsiri is the prime license reseller of Esoko in Zimbabwe.

Mubatsiri staff have been professionally trained in market characterization and enumeration techniques and have been responsible for training market enumerators for a number of interested organizations, including the Zimbabwe Farmers Union. Mubatsiri have been reporting on the major produce markets in Zimbabwe since September 2012 and are currently monitoring a total of nineteen markets throughout Zimbabwe weekly.

The system being employed emphasizes standardization across all markets and allows for easy, virtually automatic verification of data as well as utilizing field “spotters” who are called upon regularly to physically verify data provided by the enumerators. Enumerators are paid by Mubatsiri and are incentivized to provide both accurate data and the required range of information needed.

The Mubatsiri trained market enumerators currently monitor the prices and volumes traded for thirty-three key commodities and their training and experience allows for the easy addition of most other agricultural products.

The Mubatsiri Enumeration and Network Manager has been capturing market information from these monitored markets for the last eleven months and aggregating and disseminating this information to subscribed farmers, on behalf of a number of contracted clients, via the internet and via a text based messaging service.
