  🚧 BULLDOZER RIPPING 🚧

  5 reasons why it’s better to rip with a bulldozer:

  1. Particularly with virgin land, ripping with a bulldozer eliminates tractor tyre punctures from remaining stumps.

  ...

  2. A bulldozer can rip deeper than a tractor, therefore removing more underlying roots and stumps.

  3. Bulldozer tines create more of a “shatter effect” loosening the soil for better water penetration and root growth.

  4. Bulldozer tracks create less soil compaction than tractor tyres.

  5. Land prep is a busy time of season for farmers. Utilize your tractors more effectively by eliminating the need to rip.

  Bush clearing for a maize project in Masvingo going well. With the excavator and hook attachment stumping up to 5 hectares a day and moving less top soil; there's no better value for money.

  Bush clearing in Headlands for this season's maize crop. With our 7 meter rake on the bulldozer clearing 7-8 hectares a day; there's no better value for money.

  Bush clearing with Mandebvu Contracting is a 2 stage process.

  Step 1: Fell trees and stumps using an excavator and Pickeroon attachment. This attachment is proven to be 15% faster than a standard excavator bucket and more environment-friendly with less soil displacement.

  Step 2: A bulldozer and 6 metre rake then push the trees and brushwood off the land. The rake is 80% more efficient than the standard bulldozer blade and moves less top soil.
