A must visit place if you are in Zimbabwe. The national park is approx 150 Km long and it's area is approx 150 Sq.KM. There are 3 main entrance to the national park i.e. main camp, Robins camp and Sinamatella camp, though there are other exclusive camps too.

The best time to visit the National Park at mid Aug-Jan. This is the dry season they say. So, in this season animals come out of jungle to the water sources/ pools made by Park Authorities and in wet season water is plentyly available everywhere.

Any body in main camp can easily find Impalas, Kudu, Water bucks, Elephants, Buffalo, giraffes and lions. it is very rare to find Cheetahs, leopards, Rhinos and Hippos.

Its very nice park wild animals roaming freely but would recommend you to visit during the dry season when plenty of the animals are seen by the pumped water pans

Teeming with wildlife, felt like I was in a documentary the whole time I was there. Highly recommend Somalisa Camp if staying in the park.

Lions lions and lions, what a trip. Basic but comfortable accomodation, bucket list? Put Hwange on the top. Great lodge and hotels to choose from but the animals are for all. Must see safari destination.

Very nice place. Few tourists but the animals are scared (probably because of poaching and hunting).

Great wildlife reserve with lots of healthy animals. We stayed at main camp, the accomodations there were a bit lacking with no working showers, animal droppings in the houses and the look of past glory everywhere. Though the staff was very friendly and willing to help. So all in all, definitely worth the visit!

We stayed at Camp Hwange with a group in November. We can't say enough about David Carson and his team! The facility is wonderful and the safari's are so informative.
