    *Shortage of Manpower*

Mat 9:35 ASV And Jesus went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of disease and all manner of sickness. ... Mat 9:36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them, because they were distressed and scattered, as sheep not having a shepherd. Mat 9:37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest indeed is plenteous, but the laborers are few. Mat 9:38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth laborers into his harvest.

The harvest is plentiful. The labourers are few.

Labourers are released in response to prayer After prayer Jesus selected 12 disciples and send them out to reach out the lost sheep of Israel

Joh 4:35 CEV You may say that there are still four months until harvest time. But I tell you to look, and you will see that the fields are ripe and ready to harvest. Joh 4:36 Even now the harvest workers are receiving their reward by gathering a harvest that brings eternal life. Then everyone who planted the seed and everyone who harvests the crop will celebrate together. Joh 4:37 So the saying proves true, "Some plant the seed, and others harvest the crop." Joh 4:38 I am sending you to harvest crops in fields where others have done all the hard work.

Others sow and others harvest. Conversion of sinners sometimes is not the work of one man or one Church. We should not boast of the conversion of sinners. Sometimes we harvest because someone else did the initial preaching to a soul. People we minister to may go to other Churches or may be harvested into our Church, what matters is that the kingdom of God is expanding and God’s will is being done.

    *Sowers and Waterers*

1Co 3:5 Apollos and I are merely servants who helped you to have faith. It was the Lord who made it all happen. 1Co 3:6 I planted the seeds, Apollos watered them, but God made them sprout and grow. 1Co 3:7 What matters isn't those who planted or watered, but God who made the plants grow.

The Power of the Gospel is not in the Sower but in the Seed. The Gospel we preach to people will produce a harvest. Some people sow and some water but God is the one who causes a harvest and growth to the Church. God works through people to grow the Church.

You must preach the gospel to others because other people’s salvation is tied to your salvation. Remember in the Bible during the times of Moses, Aaron’s ministry was tied to Moses’ weakness. Moses was not fluent in speech and God brought Aaron and the Levitical priesthood to help him. Unless you discover who you are and your destiny, you delay other people from being saved.

Pray for the salvation of sinners!!!!!!!

"There was a man so holy that even if his thoughts wandered into the wrong place for a moment, he would repent from that sin of his mind." ~ Unknown ~

God desires that we live holy lives. Holiness is a very important matter in Christianity. It must not only be preached but also lived.

Holiness is the beauty of God's character and it must be displayed in our lives.

"Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?" (Exodus 15:11)

I am going to share with you three reasons why you must live a holy life.

The first reason why we must be holy is that the God we worship is holy.

"But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy." (1 Peter 1:15-16)

The second reason is that God called us to live a life of holiness.

"For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness." (1 Thessalonians 4:7)

The third reason we must live a holy life is that without holiness one will not be received into heaven. The heaven we all hope for and desire is a heaven of holiness. It is reserved for people who live holy lives while here on earth.

"Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord."(Hebrews 12:14)

"There is a way that leads to failure. It does not matter you run or walk, as long as you are on that path, you will fail. Unless you make a U-Turn and change the way you are going, you can't change the results." ~ Apostle T. G. Mapiye

    # *Marrige advice*

1 Peter 3:7 [7]In the same way *you married men should live considerately with [your wives], with an intelligent recognition [of the marriage relation], honoring the woman as [physically] the weaker, but [realizing that you] are joint heirs of the grace (God's unmerited favor) of life, *in order that your prayers may not be hindered and cut off.* [Otherwise you cannot pray effectively.]

This verse has been used by some saying that "a woman has the power to cause a man's prayers not to be heard." That is not the true meaning of this verse. The verse begins by saying, "In the same way..." Before this Peter had a message for the married women, he said, *"It was thus that Sarah obeyed Abraham [following his guidance and acknowledging his headship over her by] calling him lord (master, leader, authority). And you are now her true daughters if you do right and let nothing terrify you [not giving way to hysterical fears or letting anxieties unnerve you]."* (1 Peter 3:6).

Peter was saying that in the same way a woman was to honour her husband, a husband was to live with his wife considerately with an intelligent recognition [of the marriage relation], honoring the woman as [physically] the weaker, but as joint heirs of the grace (God's unmerited favor) of life.

Having said these things he went on to say, "...in order that your prayers may not be hindered and cut off." For a man and his wife to pray effectively, they must obey the order of marriage. A woman must respect and honour her husband as the head and the man must honour his wife as a weaker vessel. This harmony makes a symphony that makes a happy marriage. Happily married couples are powerful prayer partners!!!!!!!

    Guarding against Backsliding

Ask yourself this question every morning: Is my love for God and His work increasing or decreasing?

"Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!" (2 Cor 13:5 ESV)

"Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you have failed the test of genuine faith." (2 Cor 13:5 NLT)

If you notice that your commitment to God and His work is not measuring up, try and consider the words of John the Baptist:

"He must increase, but I must decrease.” (Jn 3:30 ESV)

    A Voice From Hell

You lived next door to me for years. We shared our dreams, our joys and tears. A friend to me you were indeed;... A friend who helped me when in need.

What sadness then I’ve come to find That after all you weren’t so kind! The day my life on earth did end I found you weren’t a faithful friend!

For all those years we spent on earth, You never talked of "second birth." You never spoke of my lost soul And of the Christ who’d make me whole!

Please do not err, my friend, again! Do all you can for souls of men; Plead with them now quite earnestly Lest they be cast in hell with me!

    #Grow in the grace

_"You are not only saved by grace through faith, but you grow by it, too. A common trap for new and growing Christians is trying to clean up their lives without God’s help. This is a false equation: The less you sin = the less you need God’s grace. You can’t sin less and love more without the strength of God’s grace."_

Acts 13:43 Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to... them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

2 Timothy 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

We do not only need grace for salvation but for day to day living. After salvation we still need the grace of God.

"Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God." (Heb 13:16 ESV)

While this world trains people to be selfish and to maintain beneficial relationships where people do things for the benefit they are likely to reap, Jesus taught a different concept altogether. Jesus taught that we should not only help people we are connected to or people we know, that is our friends and relatives since a good tu...
