Jesuit School of Philosophy & Humanities:

Have you ever asked the question: "Why Philosophy?"
It is about your personal formation; (w)holistic formation that makes you human...the best human person you can be; a virtuous person, a person of courage, of wisdom, of knowledge, of justice, of love, and of mercy and compassion!

What makes philosophy at Arrupe different from others? Philosophy at Arrupe College is not just any philosophy! It is unique, primus sine paribus. Arrupe College offers philosophy that is "human!" Graduates of Arrupe College are philosophers that are human and humane!

The Philosophy at Arrupe College is pragmatic and as such geared toward problem solving. The world we live in today is plagued by war, conflicts, relativism, individualism, hunger, global ecological issues, mass ignorance, economic imbalance, crime, corruption, bad leadership, etc. Some of these pose serious threat to the existence of the world. People engage in all sorts of inhumane activities because they are formed and informed by aberrant philosophies!

At Arrupe, students are formed to be people who own the world, and informed by this noble, sublime philosophy, they adopt the mission of making the world a better and safe place, a home for all - humans, animals, plants, and other creatures.

Journeying with Arrupe College has been quite an Experience! Arrupe College offers thought-provoking and illuminating courses on Humanities, Social Sciences and Philosophy (as well as ICT). In retrospect, my experience at Arrupe College has stimulated in me the quest for critical thinking, awareness and understanding. I admit also that Arrupe College, as an international school, has imparted in me the "spirit" of tolerance and acceptance of ideas and beliefs of people from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds.
Enroll at Arrupe College today, and be assured to come out more 'human'...!!!
