Great place for business meetings and social gatherings.. nice rooms..they have one of the best bars(cloud 9)on the 9th floor..the location is great,at the heart of arcades mall near East park mall and mand hill mall. 10km from the KK international airport..

Great location -a walking distance to Arcades shopping mall and East Park Mall. Manda hill shopping mall is about 5minutes ride. Staff are friendly and good variety on the buffet breakfast. Complimentary hot beverages at the reception area (coffee, hot chocolate. Tea making machine available for hotel guest. Rooms are cozy and clean. Complimentary iron and iron board for each room. Though the hotel does not have a gym, there is one located just across the street from the hotel. There is a crafts market on Sunday at Arcades where one can get a variety of Zambian art and ornaments. Lots of eating places nearby. I enjoyed my and will definitely come back.

A very good experience. Friendly and helpful staff made my stay a pleasure. The room was clean and comfortable with all the luxury necessities. I will go back. Ps. Just don't forget your international plug adaptor.

Modern furnishings, comfortable beds, DSTV, large rooms, airconditioning, en-suite shower, excllent buffet breakfast, good wifi (captive portal based), electronic safe, very courteous staff. Next to a mall. Lacks a gym. One room I stayed in had water pressure issues.

Really comfortable hotel. Better than expectations especially since Protea hotels are not always the best. Loved it in everyway, only down side is the food, humble to say the least but good quality.

I traveled here for business and stayed at the Protea Tower, there is an older Protea Hotel that has a Casino attached to it. This is not it. The Protea Tower is updated and modernized. Had big windows, big room and big bathroom. The hotel has a great Steak House and bar on the top floor. Room service in the hotel does not have many options, but several resturants near will deliver to the hotel or are a quick walk away. There is also a mall with a movie theater, grocery store and several stores in a mall. The mall also has an arts and craft market on Sundays. This hotel is in a great location for business or personal travel.

Protea Hotel is a good 3 star hotel in Lusaka that isn't too expensive, while still being very clean with professional friendly staff.

Their restaurant, The Steak House, on the 9th floor is undoubtedly in the top 5 restaurants in Zambia. Impeccable service from friendly staff and great food make this definitely worth a visit. Expensive, but you get what you pay for.
