  Nice venue, very interesting, new owners still settling in when I visited. Waiter did not know the description of the menu, Will most certainly visit again

  Do not trust these people, they are full of empty promises and lies! The owner (Jaco) refuses to pay back a refunable deposit! They will change their contact details without informing paying clients!
  
  Very unprofessional!
  
  Update: Hi Jaco, please find attached the quotation that we received from you stating a 50% deposit. Kindly note that nowhere does it state "Non-refundable". You have my banking details
  
  P.s. I am more than happy to also add a screenshot of the email where we are promised back the deposit if you would so require?

  Food was cold. Coffee was cold. No atmosphere. Kids play area was on top of horse pen, near electric fence. Menu had no vegetarian option. Bland and drabWon't go back again

  Not at all what we expected, service was really bad, only had 2 waiters serving a full restaurant. We could not get a print of our bill because the computer was off line and worst of all the manager/owner was smoking in the kitchen area. Food was good but based on out experience we probably will not rush back.

  My beautiful friend was so excited to use this venue for her wedding and thus paid a REFUNDABLE deposit the renovations didn't turn out as promised and she had to get another venue.
  
  Owner refuses to pay back the deposit even though he was very quick to promise to do so should they be unhappy with the renovations before the wedding.
  
  Shame on you for taking advantage of a beautiful couple.
  
  Also very noticible how dirty the place is. And although it comes through in most of the reviews the owner doesn't seem to mind

  Food was well prepared and presented, waiters friendly, nice food young kids, jumping castle and jungle jim, wine reasonably priced, venue has seen better days but in the process of renovation. Recommended for a quite breakfast or lunch

  Quaint little hidden gem in the middle of nowhere
  Love the raw rustic feel of the whole place, it has a warm and homey atmosphere. Food is not bad. They need to pay a lil more attention to cleanliness detail eg: salt n pepper shakers Ag but in a nutshell it is a lovely place.Pop in, you won't regret it

  We spent the weekend here and even tho there is still a lot of renovations to be done by the new owners, we had an absolutely great time. Great service and friendly staff. We look forward to coming again with the renovated "train" accommodation with the comming Jacuzzi. We will definitely be back.

  Arrived, not to be welcomed by anyone! Looks derelict, not sure what revamping has been done?? Food average. We were the only table there, not to be greeted by a manager or owner? Wanted to pay with card, waiter asked for tip in cash???? Machine never worked. Had starters and left, very sad!!😣

  Under renovation so not the best time to go. But still lovely, Food is fantastic but not worth a drive out if your plan is solely to visit this place.

  The food was just terrible dry overcooked steak which was just the most terrible cut of meat. Fish fingers cooked to a crisp and chips tasted of bad oil
  
  The ice was dirty and we had to wash it in the wines ice basket before putting it in our wine.
  
  Simply a disappointment period. We never saw a manager once we paid and went to find a better place for desert!
