Amazing place. Seriously happy with our stay.

The owners are delightful the cabins are quaint and homely and comfortable with log fires and homemade biscuits/cookies in the room and blankets.

The bed was the only thing I'd give a 4/5 instead of 5/5 but it was still very comfy.

The breakfast is a continental style breakfast and delicious. I highly recommend it.

Spent 3 nights at Zur Alten Mine. Fantastic people Rainer and his wife Walli loved the room and facilities. Perfect place for a breakaway from the busy life. Close to all the major sights and very homey. Thanks guys. It was an absolute pleasure.

Wonderful place to stay. Large and well equipped chalets, awesome view and friendly owners. You're german and miss german bread? Can't see toast any more? Order the breakfast! ;)

Very cute place on an old goldmine (hence the name, "To the old mine" ). The last miner is even buried on the premises.
The units are clean and firewood is provided.
Breakfast was great with some local specialties. Restaurants are just a short drive away.
The walk to the mine and waterfall is very nice.
Owners are very knowledgeable of tourist and wildlife info in the area.

The owners dogs were a bit anxious to come and say hello, but no problem if you don't mind dogs. If you are scared of dogs you might want to give a little heads up.
