If I could give more stars on my review I would. Really am thankful for the class Elaine taught tonight. It was a true fusion of knowledge, art and craftsmanship to create the yoga experience I got to witness, and this was a class focused on the basics! Looking forward to visit the new studio in Kloof street.

Wonderful vinyasa class with Kaya. Well-heated, great flow. Just found online while visiting and so glad I went!

Tried out a couple of studios in Cape Town and Yogazone is prime!! Apart from the powerful, exciting and insightful Vinyasa classes led by experienced and caring teachers, this heated, soundproof and elegant space is something special, where the outside world disappears and you step into a world of beautiful yoga and breath. Thank you Yogazone team for a consistently amazing experience!

We went here for a vinyasa flow with Elaine. The class was a far departure from a "flow". Elaine appeared to be a seasoned and knowledgable teacher; however has lost sight of some key principles of asana. Alignment is a deeply personal experience for each yoga student - there is no one size fits all approach to yoga. A yoga classroom should be a safe and welcoming place for each student to modify, amplify, and personalize his/her practice to meet individualized needs and bodies. Further, a vinyasa class should strive to "yolk" both breath and movement. While Iyengar style and alignment focused instruction is invaluable, a vinyasa class should include breath to movement alignment and incorporate postures which logically flow from one to the next.

The studio space itself is old and dilapidated and is reminiscent of times gone by. The drop ceiling is stained and the space exudes odors of a damp, wet, and mildewed environment. Anyone in the area looking to practice true vinyasa style yoga in a clean and safe space should visit Unravelled Yoga on Bree St.

Had an awesome hot yoga session! Parking available inside of the building, which is a real plus on busy Bree St. Clean showers, friendly crowd.

Excellent studio: central and easily accessible. But to the good stuff: I was interested in their own "hot vinyasa". I was not disappointed! It's engaging, challenging, rewarding Great balances, core exercises and the teachers know their yoga; their guidance is precise and helpful throughout the class. The people taking the class were mixed in age and ability; everyone looked happy. Everything I love about a good yoga class. The manager is lovely. I explained that since I was on holiday and therefore not likely to register, maybe it wouldn't be fair to benefit from the incredibly generous introductory offer (140R for 10 lessons over 2 weeks!) but she insisted so I ended up having an intensive yoga course over my holiday. I recommend this studio wholeheartedly (and in fact have already dragged one of my yoga-sceptic friends to the place: he loved it and is itching to go back!)

Yoga Zone was the first professional yoga studio that I visited. From the first class I attended, I walked out with the most radiant smile. The teachers are magnificent and brilliant. Practicing yoga has taught me so much about myself, my body, spirit and mind. I have visited other yoga studios, but there really is no place like Yoga Zone. The best in Cape Town. Definitely try it out, once you do, you will become addicted. Addicted to sweat.
