Thank you Wild Wings for organizing our trip to Kruger Park In September. Londolozi Tree Camp offered impeccable lodgings, service and food. We were also very well cared for at Motswari Camp. We saw all the Big 5 animals within 24 hours and really could not ask for more. 5 star experience!

In planning my first trip to Africa, I researched online and found that Wild Wings Safaris had exceptional reviews from travellers on Trip Advisor. I was very pleased to connect easily via email with Clare and she helped me to create the perfect safari for my husband and I. It was my dream to see as many big wild cats as possible in private game reserves that were dedicated to sustaining the life and land of all animal inhabitants. Clare listened to my desires and directed us to the &Beyond reserves at Phinda Forest Lodge and Ngala Tented Lodge. Our experience of each of these reserves was exceptional. Our many big cat sightings took my breath away and fulfilled my dreams. We saw all 'Big Five' animals many times in our 6 days of safari experiences. All details of transfers from airports to lodges and so forth were seamless, all trackers, guides, hosts, chefs, butlers, etc were knowledgable, friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. The lodges were luxurious, comfortable and ecologically sound. The food was unbelievably good. We felt so well cared for and had the most enchanting experience. We fell in love with South Africa and our dreams are full of the many remarkable and beautiful animals that we had the pleasure of encountering on this adventure. We plan to come again to Africa and will return to the helpful guidance of Wild Wings Safaris. Thank you, Clare!

Wild Wings Safari – the perfect safari specialist
We had an amazing safari with Simon, the Ferrari of safari guides ! The entire process of working with Wild Wings Safari has been top notch. The attention to detail and the well documented FAQ were just some of the little things that made you comfortable that the long awaited safari trip was going to be perfect. We worked with Madi to organize the trip and she was great to work with – even when I kept asking ‘just one more question’. She was always kind and patient. She had information on everything we asked and had it all organized that we knew we had not a worry in sight. She helped me put together a schedule that completely fit my criteria and had recommendations that were truly helpful. Wild Wings Safari definitely provided 5 star service. We did a combination of National Park, Private reserve and River safari’s and all were exceptional.
The Kruger National Park safari was amazing. Simon was exactly what you want in a tour guide; a fantastic eye to spot those animals trying to hide, a great sense of humor, loads of information if you wanted more background on an animal or area and a great cook on top of that ! We didn’t notice when we booked the tour that Simon was also cooking the meals – and you will be surprised at how good they are. We were told by another guest when we first started our safari how great Simon was but we didn’t have anything to compare to at that point. After finishing a 3 week trip with multiple different guides we now know she was spot on – Simon was truly the best blend of what you don’t even know you are looking for. We knew that there is no guarantee of what you will get to see and we were thrilled that we got to see the Big 5 as well as many with their young. Book with Wild Wings, you will not be disappointed !
Private Reserve (Elephant Plains). If possible, do try and book a private reserve experience as it is totally different in that they are allowed to go off road and you will get to be closer to the animals. We just wish Simon had been our ranger again. Wild Wings handled all the bookings and everything in that manner was perfect. The private lodge provides their own rangers and unfortunately we were assigned to one that did not yet excel at his position. We know without a doubt that if Wild Wings had been providing the rangers they would have all been excellent.

I and my family could not have been happier with the arrangements made by Wild Wings. This was a bucket list trip with the entire family. We spent 3 weeks of the most enjoyable travel for us who are widely traveled throughout the world over many years. The lodges selected for us and the transfer services were perfect. Guides were superb; the drivers for transfer between lodges were guides themselves making the road trips almost mini safaris. A last-minute change in lodge accommodation due to a devastating fire in Knysna only a couple of weeks before we were to depart prevented us encountering anything that could be a reason for any complaints. I would recommend Wild Wings with complete confidence to anyone.

I were extremely satisfied with the service provided by Wild Wings. Simon was the perfect guide! He had this sharpened and fascinated look by the beauties of Kruger, always sharing with us information about animals and wildlife. Jock was great too. The meals prepared by him were always very tasty and well presented.

Wild Wings Safaris is a very responsible and serious company. Mike was our contact and understood from the beginning what we were looking for. He arranged the trip exactly as we wanted it. Then everything was perfect in South Africa. All accomodations, transfers and excursions were as planned. We had no problems during the trip!
We are very happy and satisfied with our holiday in South Africa. It's a wonderful country with very friendly people!
Although all the guides were very good, we want to make a special mention for Neil and Cas. We really enjoyed and learned a lot with them.
Despite being the worst time of year to go to Kruger, Neil did his best to spot all the animals. We saw lions, cheetahs, elephants, white rhinos, giraffes, zebras, buffalos, hyenas, wild dogs and much more. We just missed seeing a leopard. Neil is also an excellent cook!
Cas is a perfect guide. She speaks very clearly. And she made great recommendations during the Garden Route tour.
In conclusion, we strongly recommend Wild Wings.response / report this review -

We booked a six day combo Kruger park, greater park tour. We were picked up in the morning at Johannesburg airport, driven up to the park where we jumped into an open air combi. Great views of animals with commentary from our guide Simon, who was super, knowledgeable and friendly and great cook. Next two days were similar, tour in morning and late afternoon. Third day we went on safari and then were transferred to private park, where we headed out for another safari after a light lunch. Five safaris later we headed back down to Joburg. Very highly recommend this. Private and public viewing are very different and I can recommend both.

12 Day Cape Town, Kruger, and Victoria Falls. Fantastic trip and fantastic experience with Wild Wings. The staff were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to have an amazing trip. It was a great way to see many different things, with more personal flexibility on activities in Cape Town and Victoria Falls. Kruger highlighted the trip with Simon, our extremely knowledgeable guide who took care of everything! I would highly recommend both this trip and Wild Wings.

We booked our recent safari through Wild Wings, and we had a phenomenal experience! We can't thank Wild Wings enough for putting together this adventure for us.
The recommended lodges were excellent, the lodge staff was fantastic, our guides and trackers were superb, and the game drives were incredible. Really, the entire trip was so amazing that I'm running low on adjectives.
This trip was filled with moments we'll remember for the rest of our lives. We're so incredibly happy to have reached out to Wild Wings. Of note, one of the biggest stress reducers was their knowledge of the transfers we'd need to smoothly connect each sub-adventure.
All we did was email the company to ask what reserves they would recommend for our preferences and interests. They sent back informational comments about different reserves and then a detailed recommended itinerary, - with lodging, transfers, etc. - under a separate cover. There was no pressure, just a recommended itinerary attached to a short email.response / report this review -

Wild Wings Safaris had arranged the best experience for us!
First, they showed unmatched flexibility when our requirements were outside of the available options. Most other operators couldn't provide a solution that would fit our dates and requirements. Wild Wings worked with us very creatively, and when all "canned" options were exhausted, they offered a completely custom tour that was tailored to our needs.
Our guide, Frank Watts, was simply amazing - he was happy to be out there with us from 6 AM to 6 PM, telling amazing stories about animals, running from one sighting to another. Frank is well connected with all other guides, which allows him to be constantly updated on what's going on in the park. We didn't just see animals, we saw their stories unfolding in front of our eyes:
- Two leopards mating
- Lions killed a buffalo and devouring their meal
- Lions going for a hunt
- Lioness calling for her mate, while the mate is chilling at a distance with no interest
- Elephants coming for a bath
