We decided to have Christmas lunch here. The food was great it felt just like a well cooked home feast. My only complaint is that one of our guests had a nut allergy - a life threatening issue made worse being so far away from any suitable hospital facilities. When we were seated the host recalled there was some condition with our booking and asked if we had a vegetarian guest!
So obviously measures had not been taken to keep the food separate from nuts.
I am inclined to give a 3 star rating but the hosts were very accommodating in every other regard and again we really enjoyed the food.
Other things - they have a large lawn just outside the restaurant (on both sides) where kids can play. They also have some dogs that roam around which the kids enjoy and many other farm animals that you can go and see.

Small rooms, they are directly in the house of someone else

We had a great time. The new owners a lovely and really try to make your stay special. Gorgeous rooms and incredible view.

The food was also to die for. Massive portions of feel-right-at-home wholesome goodness.
