I have never eaten prawns this delicious before! Beautiful view, fantastic service! Do not judge a book by its cover! If you are in the area, go there! It's worth every bite!

A decent place with a cozy vibe situated right on the beach with 180 views of the sea from the deck. Service is good, food is quite decent in comparison to other places i have been to in the area. I'd recommend that if you are in the area, make a stop stop at this place to experience the 'locals delight' as people from far as Margate/North durban make a return to experience the ambience of this place along with a few drinks as well as local dish.

Friendly staff nice vibe. But the food not so good. I had calamari cooked three ways all of them tough & chewy. Please make home made chips. I won't eat frozen at home so why do you think I want them dining out ?

Great little spot for Sunday brunch. Lovely views. Service was friendly & extremely efficient. Food was really good value for the price.

Awesome sea views and relaxed atmosphere Friendly staff. Good service. Fresh salads. At times food average. Last time fish was served skin side up as if no care was taken in presentation. For me it not taste fresh however on the whole well worth a visit.

heard about this place and thought I had to give it a try. It was Sunday and I was told a burger or pizza would take too long as the carvery was being prepared. I was informed a toasted sandwich was possible, after 50 minutes - I threw in the towel. The deck is really nice and I understand the milkshakes are fantastic.Inside decor is somewhat dated, and please clean the windows..we want to enjoy your awesome sea view. I will wait a while before returning. Holding thumbs!

Have been to Waves Restaurant almost everyday for a week, I honestly love the vibe that the restaurant gives off The food is AMAZING especially their prawns. And the Service is just as good.. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that asks. 😆😆😆
