The gym equipment is falling apart and the facility needs attention. We have complained about the condition of the equipment numerous times, but never get any feedback. In comparison to Virgin Actives in the Western Cape, Bryanston is below standard - equipment, cleanliness and service.

The difference maker is the Jacuzzi. Outstanding. Although the weights section can be improved i.e. made bigger. Some of the equipment is also rusting.

KG is the rudest staff member I have ever come across. I have signed a visitors log in multiple occasions for my au pair child to swin here. Today she accused me of fraud because I am signing on behalf of the parents. She is clueless - Julia as well. Sent my au pair child to the pool to swim while I sorted out the admin and then when it was time to actually do the admin hauled a 15 year old girl out of the in front of a full gym in her costume and no mask and brought her to the front to take a picture!!!!

Absolutely appalled by this branch. Consistently getting it wrong

My regular gym, but I’m disappointed that the weights are the old plastic style, and often broken. I’ve been promised the new weights for months, but I continue to wait rather impatiently. Sort this out and the gym will be perfect.

Great Virgin Active club. New Equipment and all of the in-between things you need. 8 Wattbikes for you triathlon nutters. Lots of classrooms and studios. Awesome spacious layout. The sauna, jacuzzi and steam bath are unisex facilities (and are really awesome, but take a costume ;) Kauai there too

Facilities aren't any better than any other gym the price per month is ridiculous I asked to see the facilities before signing up and I was told it's 270 odd for the day that's what I pay for a month at a competitor gym with better facilities

Although a fairly new gym compared to others, the equipment is showing signs of age and even neglect. Maintenance could be improved, as usual wherever you go I guess. It can get a bit too busy for my liking in the evenings; busy enough that you literally cannot get any set of dumbbells and especially struggle with parking.
The equipment is nice however, and there is a variety of it.

Virgin active Bryanston experiences power interruptions periodically for days on end. Given all the power issues over the past years, a flagship club like this should already have some for of backup power to function fully normally!

Very modern well equipped gym with forest theme mind body studio. Good range of classes. I personally love the Tai Chi and Yoga classes
