The service i received from this backpackers was unacceptable. The owner does not have any idea of what goes on at this accommodation. The rooms a small and cool. The person at the help desk on the 2nd of September was drunk and could not even walk. People smoke dope at the property. This is not a safe place to stay at. this place is very dangerous. I would not give this a star rating

The cabin we stayed had bunk beds and not a double bed as we had reserved. The cabin was cheap but small and lacks of any interior at all. There is just the bed. At night it was super cold (winter). However i liked the owner. Nice dude.

We had a great experience at Valley View Backpackers. The owner gave us great pieces of advice regarding the possible hikes in the area and we met travelers that became great friends afterwards. I putting "only" 4* because I wish the WiFi was included in the price of the accommodation (50R).

This place has all it needs after a tiring day..the evenings in the community kitchen are great where all travellers..strangers come together to cook their supperget friendsnot to meet next dayexplains so much of life moves on

We've had a great time staying in one of the rondavels. Joseph was very helpful to us. He has always some good recommendations, be it for restaurants, liquor store or ATM.
We would love to come back some time!
