Currently the course is not in the best condition, but playable. We had an unfortunate time with the carts as we had to change carts multiple times during play. The course layout can be confusing and there wasn't a marshal present to assist with the speed of play enough though a competition was on going. The halfway house is just grab and go, but extremely overpriced. The looker rooms are basic and comparable to an average household bathroom. The clubhouse was nice though, with 'n quaint view of the Vaalriver.
If you are in the area and looking for a relativity cheap round of golf, go play here, but be aware, that is exactly what you are going to get.response / report this review -

This is a top golf course with superb facilities. It is located in a tourism area and receive many visitors. Accommodation on site is available and is at a high standard. Plenty of places to stay in the area. The golf course is a must play and covers 6 711 meters as a par 72. It is surrounded by the river but interesting enough the river seldom comes into play. A Retief Goosen design and his style of play can be seen in the way the course is laid out. Well worth a visit.

The golf course and clubhouse is beautiful, but the clubhouse closed early, while we were still on the course.
